Orion’s lips tore from mine as he forced me out of his mind, I gasped for breath as I clung to him. The world was in a daze as he glared at me with frustration building within him, he bit back heated words of damnation as he held me to him to prevent the ground from claiming me as my legs grew numb.
“Orion,” I muttered in confusion.
“You weren’t meant to see that!” Orion hissed in my ear.
“Why? Afraid you’ll have to sign a contract with me?” I demanded in a hushed tone.
“Don’t speak nonsense, Alaïa,” Orion growled frustratingly.
“Who the hell are you?” I demanded.
“Alaïa!” he growled warningly.
“Tell me!” I demanded as I pushed on his chest.
“Mama?” Razael’s voice cut through the room.
