The thick scent of blood clung to the air as waves of darkness filled the darkened surroundings, a creature bathed in sunlight guided his way as he approached his master who had barely whispered his long-forgotten name upon her lips. Streaks of gold spun from her head in tangled waves as beads of sweat clung to the crevices of her aching body. She was a frail creature who pleaded for life from the gods she had worshipped with none of her sacred deities answering her call, instead, she was forced to face the misery she was placed upon and summoned the creature of the underworld. “Orion!” she begged hopelessly as the form of a man approached her. “You should not have summoned me, Dior,” the devil proclaimed as he took in the beauty’s golden eyes. “Why not when my life is already ending,”
