I woke up to a massive headache. I looked around my surroundings and didn't recognize anything. I started to panic and then I heard voices outside the tent, I knew it was the enemies that I've heard of but what I am terrified of is what they'll do to me. I never thought that I would get captured but then again I could still see Marcellas body lying on the ground with a bullet wound through her chest. They still havent moved her lifeless body.
I heard someone come in the tent. He looked pretty young, I was almost certain he was about the same age as I was. I noticed his uniform was more upgraded than the other soldiers, so it was pretty obvious that he was of a higher rank than most.
"What is your name?" I looked up and he was holding a tray of food and water canteen
" Zenna" he stared for what seemed like a forever but he eventually looked down at the tray he was holding.
"My name is admiral Furukawa, Atshushi Furukawa. why were you lurking around our camp site?"
" I wasn't! this is my grandfathers island. I often come here to clear my head and that's when my friend Marcella and I noticed the boats on shore"
" What is your business here? to spy on the enemy? or to attack us unexpectedly?"
Furukawa laughed " You're pretty brave to be asking those questions for a lady, normally I figured you would be too scared to open your pretty little mouth"
That statement caused me to scoff " Why would I be afraid of you? Are you going to kill me like you did my friend over there? leave my lifeless body as you did hers? Go ahead I'm not afraid to die." I sounded pretty confident even though I felt like I was going to pee myself any minute.
" You're pretty confident, and what makes you think I wouldn't kill you? actually that might be just what I'll do" He then ordered one of his subordinates something in Japanese and looked back at me " Are you sure you don't want to beg for your life?"
" I'd rather die than to beg in front a pathetic fool" he pulled out his knife and pressed it against my neck. I closed my eyes waiting for the feel of the sharp blade pierce through my flesh, but it never came. I didn't feel any pain, at that moment I opened my eyes and I see the admiral put the knife back.
" Why didn't you kill me?"
" Because I have a proposition for you?"
" What are you on about? What proposition are you talking about?"
" I'll let you go unharmed if you agree to whatever I have to offer" I was curious on what this man had to offer considering the fact that I had nothing to give in the first place.
"What is it?"
"Be My Wife." Except that.
"Never!"
"Okay its your choice, I guess you can kiss your freedom and your family goodbye then"
"Wait! what do you mean my family? please don't hurt them" at this point I was desperate to keep my family alive.
" Well then my dear, do we have a deal?" Oh father forgive me I hope you know that this is the only thing I could do to keep you safe.
I choked back my tears as I looked up to see look at the man that had just ruined my life and said "Deal"
