My mind was still spinning over everything that just happened. Jaiden died, then came back to life. I lost him, and I was still freaked out over it, my mind wavering to it, my hands shaking. I didn’t want to be away from him even for a second, and I think he understood that, since he was sticking to me like glue. Even when I went to use the bathroom he waited for me at the door, a happy expression on his face when I smiled at him. He seemed to just naturally understand everything about me without even having to say it, and it made me feel like I was going to cry. ‘Because he knows you, deep down. He knows everything about you.’ Bella said to me.
I smiled, leaning against Jaiden on the bed, waiting for Grayson. ‘He does, he understands me better than I understand myself.
