As I made my way down the stairs I couldn't stop the blush that came to my face, Jace wouldn't take his eyes of me and I didn't mind at all.
"You look beautiful."he commented.
I blushed brighter."You don't look so bad yourself."I teased.
"Are you..."he started before his phone cut him off."Just give me a minute sweetheart.I have to take this."
After several minutes he cleared the call and turned to me."I'm so sorry Leah, I have to go now."he apologised.
"What?Where do you have to go?"I asked concerned.
"Elena just called, she isn't feeling too well and she has no one to take her to the hospital, will you go to Cuisine's restaurant and wait for me please.I'll have the driver drop you off."
"But Jace , this was supposed to be our first date."I protested unhappily.
