The captains of some areas decided to have a large-scale Youth Night-Masquerade Party as a thank you party for all the successful projects they have done in the town. Majority of the officials of each barangay are young people, so they focus more on the fact that those who should attend are young people. Areas include Laguna, Batangas, Pampanga, Pangasinan, Bataan and other areas where many young men and women should attend.

Liza heard about the party, but she didn't like to attend such an event, so she just ignored it, but it seemed that she was destined to go there because her close friend Anne also told her about it.

Liza's POV

While I was happily listening to music and reading my favorite book outside our house, my best friend came from nowhere with such a loud voice.

"Liza! Did you hear about youth prom night? Why don't you attend? After all, you're beautiful. I'm sure many boys will like you." She said excitedly. She is Anne. She likes taking me everywhere.

"Ah yes, I heard that, but I don't like it, so I don't want to go. Why don't you just attend?" I said while clinging to her and leaning forward to tease her with my wacky face.

"Hey Liza, it's rarely to have an event like that, besides, you're 16, but you haven't even had a boyfriend yet, who would think that a beautiful girl like you. Who hasn't had a boyfriend yet? And you know, maybe your Prince Charming will attend the event, and wait ! Maybe mine will too, so we should attend." She is still forcing me. Look at this person. She even mentioned my age. Eh, no one can capture my heart, is that my fault? Hmmm.

"Ah, I don't want it! I don't want it! I don't want it!" I kept pushing her away because she was teasing me too much. So I ran to get away from her by Michael Jackson's moonwalk because I was teasing her too.

While I was running backwards, I accidentally bumped into a person. A man. We looked at each other slightly. But it's better to say we stared at each other. I think I know this person. I know him. Like...

"Miss?" a voice from the man in front of me. And it's embarrassing to say that I suddenly came to my senses and thought that I had bumped into him.

"Oh, I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to. I wasn't looking, so I'm sorry. I'm really sorry." I apologize. I feel stupid. It's embarrassing.

"Miss, it's okay. I wasn't looking either. I was looking for Mr. and Mrs. Samonte's house. Are you from here?" A question came from him.I guess this person has a race because of his looks. I looked at him and answered what I had to answer.

"Ah, yes, I'm from here, and the one you're looking for is our neighbour. Let's go." Are we really going home? Haha. I'm surprised at myself.

"Okay." The man agreed with what I said and they followed us. While we were walking, the man spoke again so we stopped suddenly and looked back at them. "Ah wait Miss what is your name? I am Enrique and this is Ken my friend." Introducing himself and his friend to us.

"Hi girls! I’m Ken." He introduced himself to us with a wave of his hand. He's cute and looks like or smells like someone just had a crush on him. Haha. But of course these people are strangers so better to keep an eye with them.

"Liza!" I said to myself without any emotion. I don't know but I feel different about them. So I walked ahead again to think straight. Anne and the two boys followed me.

"Liza! You're so mean with them and you haven't introduced me yet, well, we were having fun just now and suddenly you're mean? Right away?" Anne said flatly to me but in a soft way. I kind of forgot. I'm sorry.

"Mmm Am I rude? Well, I think I'm nice, if you want to know them, go on, after all, it's because of you that I bumped into them, right?" I jokingly told her and seemed to take it seriously.

"Ah okay. Noted." And finally my naughty best friend shut up, but she was obedient because she took seriously what I said, so she turned back to where the two were. It's up to her. We just saw a handsome and a cute guy and left me. Grrr.

"Ah, Liza, is it still far?" I was a little surprised because he asked question all of a sudden. And there seems to be no patience. You're still handsome. Fortunately, we are already at our destination which is close to our house.

"Nope. That's where you're standing. Just knock and I think they’re at their house. We’ll go." I said goodbye to them while pulling Anne because for sure she didn't want to leave the two.

"Hey. Take care. Nice meeting you two." Anne said to the two because I was pulling her to our house. I pulled her a bit OA.

"Liza, thank you and I’m happy to meet you. A-a-h I mean both of you." said Enrique, but I'm not sure. We have also gone a little bit further. We entered our house so as not to see the two? Nope. Not really. Nothing. We’ll talk. We are at home. I wondered what they needed to Samonte’s family. Hmmm, Is that because…

"Thank you!" Anne surprised me again. She’s always doing it to me, one more and I'll hit her. I'm thinking.

"You're welcome." I answered her teasingly. So she just sat and remained silent on the sofa. Mommy brought us snacks.

"You're teasing each other again, huh. What's the matter?" Mommy's serious question for both of us.

"No, Mommy. That's just like Anne." I said and looked to Anne with my wide eyes open.

"You two. You're really young. Go ahead and I'll just go clean in the kitchen." Mom walked into the kitchen. My Mom is really kind. I love her so much.

“Okay Mommy." I whispered. Anne is eating now, that's why she is quiet. Her mouth is full. Haha

Suddenly, I thought again. Have I really seen that man? I'm sure I've seen him and recognized him. But Where? When? How? Do I have a memory gap already. I'm only 16 years old but why can't I remember what I should remember.Uhhhhgg!!!Maybe I should just go to the event. Oh no no no. I do not want. Nevermind. I'll just read a book. Yes. Will listen to music. That's it. I will not attend. Nope.
