CHAPTER 15 : [ MATTHEW'S POV ]

I wanted to really kiss her, I don't know what happened to me '' you don't have to give me the intel now ! ''  ''I know but the truths the truth ! '' she just rolls her eyes '' well you can daydream I have to get to class ! ''  '' let me walk you ?''  '' no ! because then you going to ask me out and that would just complicate things , don't doubt your feelings for Eliza - you love her and you miss her ! ''  She was absolutely correct maybe I just missed Eliza '' can I still give you hugs though ? ''  '' okay but warm hugs only ! ''  '' warm hugs ?!''  ''I mean friendship silly ! ''  '' Friendship , that sounds good to me ! '' '' great then , I have to go . '' 

                                                                              [ AYLA'S POV ]

The rest of classes were okay - the debate team decided to share events , it was more of an open discussion . Classes were finally over and I was walking to my locker when I felt these hands touch mine- I look back and all I see was this crowd of students . I open my locker and look down at my hands - there was this note folded with a crescent moon on it, I open it and there was this phone number written .

I close my locker and walk towards the entrance of the school - I was outside the school doors walking down the steps '' you avoiding me ? ''  I turn around and look at Gerald '' excuse me ! '' he stands up '' I said you avoiding me , why ? ''   '' you right , I am avoiding you ! ''  '' so you found out - that was quick! ''

Alayna comes walking down the steps and stops when she sees us - Gerald looks at her and I look at her . I turn my attention back to Gerald '' I ask for a second chance ! ''  '' fine you get yourself a second chance ''  '' tomorrow evening - I'll pick you up at 6 pm ! ''  '' okay ! ''

He walks away '' are you crazy - a second chance ?''  '' why not ? ''  '' you just going to forget that his a murderer ?! ''  '' not judging a book by its cover ! '' '' this one we have to judge! ''  '' I don't want to fight with you , its going to be fine! ''   '' if you say so ! ''  '' Alayna I'm not judging you for hooking up with Parker in the bathroom ''  '' you know about that ?''  '' yes I do, so can we just drop the topic of Gerald ! ''  '' I suppose you right ! ''

We walk to the car and get in '' hi girls , how was school ? ''   '' mother you here with father ?! '' '' of course I am ! ''   '' hi girls , what do you want for lunch ? ''   '' where's Alyssa ? '' '' I'm here - sorry . ''   They all look at me '' well I want burgers ! ''  '' burgers it is then ! ''

We got the burgers and headed home - we ate outside in the garden , after a while Alyssa and Alayna went to complete some homework and I excused myself to go to my room . I sat on my balcony reading a book, I get this message and open it :

I smile at the message and continue to read - I felt tired so I put the book aside and rested my head on the pillow. I had a bed with pillows in a shape of a chair on my balcony. I felt the sun starting to set in '' honey , suppers ready ! ''  I open my eyes slowly and get up - I walk inside my room and close the balcony door.
