ATTRACTION

CHAPTER 6 : [ AYLA'S POV ]

Classes went good the rest of the day ,  I was sitting with  the debating team who were debating over fashionista's . I looked at the time - I needed to get to the guidance counsellor . " Well its nice to debate over fashion , I need to go see you guys Thursday ! ''   '' bye Ayla ! ''  '' bye Mary ''   Marry was the leader of the debate team.

" So its been quite a long time that you've been here Ayla ! ''  '' I'm aware Mr. Downing ! ''   '' call me Lewis !'' ''Is that appropriate I mean there is a code of conduct around here?! ''  '' I'm aware of that but I say so what! ''   I smile at him " you want to see the footage from earlier ? ''  '' why , so I can reflect on my mistakes! ''  '' that's absolutely correct ! ''

He switches the TV on '' you connected to the camera's ?''   '' yes and that's my little secret - we fast forwarding 10 minutes after and 10 minutes before , over here what are you doing ? ''  '' I took my books out for my class and then I heard these girls talking''   '' so you were eavesdropping ? ''   '' Yes in a way I was ! '' he smiles at me and looks at the TV   '' over here is the fight , I don't want you to explain but I want you to notice your mistakes ! ''

30 minutes went by and I started giving up on noticing my mistakes '' I can't identify  ! ''  '' of course because there were none but the situation got out of control . ''   I took hold of the remote and went back to the fight -  I could see Mr. Downing looking at me " okay you right , the situation got out of proportion!''  ''good I always admired your honesty , so what would you do differently ?''  '' I shouldn't have banged my locker , could of approached them quietly and decently ! ''  '' correct you could have , I believe your times up , see me tomorrow during your sports period - I'll wait for you on the field. ''  '' Okay have a good day ! '' '' you too ! ''

I watched Ayla leave and then I went back to my notes , she was a very honest student and very intelligent '' Mr. Downing , am I disturbing you ? ''    '' not at all - come in Principal Jane ! ''  '' I'm here to discuss Ayla Cooper - she would need to get detention for her behavior earlier ! '' '' I'm aware of that but give her time , I know how to help her . ''   '' You have 2 weeks Mr. Downing ! ''  '' I can do with that ''  '' good, have a good day! ''  Will 2 weeks be enough ,that was real question at hand!

I was walking in the corridors thinking about what Mr. Downing said until I hit this hard chest and my books fell on the floor . I bent down to pick my books up -  I didn't even look at the person that I bumped into . " I'm so sorry I didn't notice you approaching ! '' the boy bents down and  I look at him - he had green eyes with gold flecks and this silky cinnamon light brown hair  and for his body I'm pretty sure he had a six pack . I was totally drooling , he hands me my books and stands up and so do I " its not your fault ! '' I totally have a crush !
