Big surprise

After I finished my breakfast I headed back to my room. As I walked back to my room lost in my thoughts about Matt, I crashed into Azu coming from the basement. " Whoa, easy girl!" she chuckled and held me for a moment so I don't fall. " I'm sorry Azu, I get little bit lost in my thoughts," I looked at her smiling apologetically. She chuckled, " No problem hun, that happens sometimes. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. Today we will have a family dinner, all members together. It starts at  6 PM," she smiled at me. " That's nice," I smiled back at her, but my smile disapeared as I realised something, " but I.. I don't have any appropriate clothing to wear," I look down at old t shirt and old sweatpants, that Azu borrowed me. " We can go shopping for something, you need more clothes anyway, " she smiled at me, " Oh and don't worry about money, take it as a welcome gift."  " No I can't accept that," I shaked my head. " Yes, you can! In fact you have to!" She chuckled and took my hand draging me to her room. " Now let's go, you'll change into something else and we'll head to the shop center." 

We entered her room and she headed right to the closet. I looked around the room curiously. The walls were painted with light  turquoise color, the furniture was black and elegant. The room was really cozy, all around the walls were hanging pictures of Azu and Pho from their trips. Azu told me they were together for about two years now and they looked really cute and happy together. I smiled for myself. Azu picked jeans and a cozy hoodie from the close and walk over to me smiling." I hope I'll have something like you two one day," I smiled at her and took the clothes. " Something is telling me, that you'll, " she winked at me mysteriously." Alright, go and change, I'll wait for you outside," she smiled and walked out of the room. After I changed we headed to the shop center. W ehad tons of fun. Azu forced me to try every cloths that I liked and bought me everything that suited me, we also bought a wonderfull black dresses for the dinner. After all the shopping we sat in the cafeteria to get something for lunch and rest a bit.

We get home few minutes after 4PM. " Alright hun, we should get ready for the dinner, see you there!" Azu smiled at me and walked to her room. " See you!" I waved at her and walked to my room to get ready. After I took long hot shower I changed into the dresses. Since my ankle still hurted, I decided to wear converse instead of high heels. Well better to look like an i***t, than break my ankle twice, I chuckled,put light make-up on and tied up my hair into messy bun. One last glance into mirror, few drops of the perfume and I was ready to go. I was nervous, but excited at same time. 

I walked into the dinning room and took a seat. The table was nicely set with lots of  delicious food served. Almost everybody already sat around the table. Soon after me came Azu and Pho, Azu smiled at me and they sat on the opposite side leaving only one chair left. We were already taking the food, when the last of us appeared. It was Matt, he was wearing pair of jeans and black shirt, that really suited him. He sat on the chair right opposite me. I felt his look on me, so I looked up from my plate and smiled at him, he smiled shyly back and looked back at his plate blushing. I smiled wider and continue with eating. The dinner was going really good, everybody was having fun. They remembered all the funny stories and laughed, I was laughing too, but I felt little sad, some of this stories made me think about my family.  " So, Arte, how do you like it here so far? " Reaper interrupted my thoughts and smiled at me charmingly. He was really tall and mascular, his eyes were blond and he had a blue eyes. He was shapeshifter, but I never saw him shift into something. " I love it here, everybody is just so nice to me. It's great to have home again," I smiled at him too. "Well, we're really glad to have you here," he winked at me smiling. " Thank you" I looked back to my plate,with a corner of my eyes I saw Matt looking absently on his plate thinking about something." Are you alright Matt? "  Pho asked and looked at him. " Yeah, I'm alright, just tired of the traveling," he smiled at her, " I guess I'll go to bed guys," he smiled at everybody apologetically and took his empty plate walking away. Pho stood up and walked behind him quickly.

I looked behind them wondering, what happened. He seemed really upset. I tried to focus on the rest of the conversation, but for some odd reasons I could only think about Matt. What upset him so much? I decided to go and talk with him, I didn't know why, I just felt this urgue to comfort him. I excused myself and walk behind them to the kitchen. As I walk closer to the kitchen I could hear voices. " Does she know about it?" "No she have no idea.. I didn't know how to tell her yet." " Well, you should tell her soon". 

" Tell her what?" I ask them as I step into the kitchen and look at both of them curiously. They both freeze on the place and look up on me. " I, uhmm, I need to tell you something," Pho look at Matthew. " Oh, alright I got the hint. I'll leave you two alone," he smiles at me and walks out of the kitchen. "Of course," I scratch my head nervously. She takes a deep breath, " Alright, this is gonna be awkward and I should tell you that sooner," she looks on the ground. " Maybe we could amke some hot tea and take a seat for it?" I smile at her encouragely. " That would be great," she smiles back gratefully. " Take a seat then, I'll make the tea and you can start in the meantime," I start boiling the water  and prepare two cups for us. " I don't know where to start," she playes nervously with her fingers and takes deep breath. I pour the water into cups and put them on the table. I sit down next to her and smile at her  encouragingly. " I'm.. Uhm, you're.. We are sisters," she looks up at me. My eyes widen, " No Pho, that must be some misunderstanding. I don't have a sister," I shake my head slowly trying to absorb the information. 

" It's true Arty, look at us. We look pretty similiar.. Plus, we have this," she show me her shoulder. I can see the same mark as mine. I pull the sleeve of my dresses away showing the same mark in the shape of little paw. I noticed that we looked similiar, but lots of people can look similiar without being related. But it would be really big chance to look similiar and have same marks on the exactly same spots too. My brain was melting.. " I know I was kinda rude to you, but you have to understand how I felt after what I've been through," she looks at me with pleading eyes. I look at her confused not able to say anything. She starts telling me the whole story. "No, that can't be true. Parents would never do that to their child.." I look at her with tears in my eyes, " I.. I have to think about it.." I stand up quickly. " Arty wait, please!" she stands up too. " No I.. I need to be alone right now," I walk out of the kitchen leaving her behind my back. I feel bad for leaving her like this, but I need to sort things out.  I run into my room and jump on my bed crying. Could this really be true?
