Picnic time

I knock on Them's door gently and yawn. Last night was total disaster, I couldn't fall asleep thinking how to cheer her up, but I couldn't figure out anything. I woke after few hours of restless sleep, changed and walked upstairs to make myself something for breakfast. As I entered dinning room with a bowl of cereal I was still thinking about Themi. " Hey Bro!" Azu's voice ripped me out of my thoughts. " Hey sis. Hey Pho," I smiled at both of them and sat oposite them. " You look terrible," Azu looked at me worried. " I just couldn't fall asleep thinking how to cheer Themi up a bit," I yawned. " I knew she wouldn't také it well," Pho looked at her plate sadly. " It's alright Pho, she just overreacted, she's stressed, tired and hurt. She just needs time to process all of this," I smile at Pho. " He's right Hun, she needs relax, time and little distraction from all of this," she touched Pho's shoulder gently, " Maybe we could go on a picnic today? Look it's a wonderful day outside and it'll distract her mind for a while," Azu smiled wide. " Sis that's great idea!!" I smile at her.. " Alright then, since we are already finished with breakfast, we'll prepare some food and go to change. You can finish your meal and go to get Them," they stood up and walked to kitchen. I quckly finished my cereal and rushed to Them's room.
I get a little bit nervous when she didn't respond, so I knock again little bit louder. " Uhm, come on in!" a sleepy voice come form inside. " I'm sorry, I didn't know you're still asleep," I rub the back of my neck entering the room. " It's alright, I can't sleep all day," she smiles at me. " How are you feeling today?" I smile at her back. " I'm much better thank you," she sits up on the bed and stretch. " I'm glad to hear that! I just wanted to ask if you want to go on a picnic with Azu, Pho and me?" I look at her little bit nervous waiting for the answer. " Wouldn't that be weird?" she looks at me. " Of course not! It will be fun, I swear," I smile at her. " Alright then, let me just change," she stand up from the bed and walk to the closet. " Yeah sure, I'll wait for you downstairs" I leave the room and walk to the kitchen looking for Azu and Pho. But I didn't find any trace of them, just the picnic basket on the counter. As I grab it from the counter a little not falls down to the floor. "We thought it would be nice to give you guys some time alone, hope you enjoy your date! Azu and Pho" I read the note and laugh for myself and walk to wait in hall. Themi enters the hall after about ten minutes wearing red short sleeves t-shirt and black jeans, she looks around. " Where are the others?" she looks confused. " Uhmm, they had to go to the city," I smile at her," But we can go alone, if you want." She looks at me " Alright, lead the way," she smiles. I walk out of the house and lead her to the forest.
We walked for a while in silence. " So where are you from?" I look at her. " I lived on a farm with my parents not so far from here," she smiles sadly. " I'm sorry and I understand if you don't want to talk about it," I look at her. " No it's alright. What about you? Where are you from?" she looks at me. " I lived in Oklahoma with my parents and siblings," I turn on the forest path. " What happened?" she looks at me curiosly. " My family always tracked down the sorcerers. With Azu we had to hide what we are, but our power still grew up and it was getting harder and harder to hide them. I moved away really soon and lived in our cabin in woods, " I looked at her, she was looking at me saddly. " I'm sorry to hear that, it must be terrible to had to hide what you are from your parents.." " Yeah, but now it's alright tho," I smile at her. We enter a small glade strewn with flowers. " Wow this place is amazing!" sha says with big smile on her face. " I'm glad you like it," I smile at her and lay down a blanket. " After you My lady," I point to the blanket and she sits down. I sit down next to her and start to take out the food. I give her one of the sandwiches, we start eating and talked about everything and laughed like a children. At some point I just couldn't help myself and starred at her thinking how beautiful she is. " What? " she look at me raising her eyebrow. Alright maybe now it's the best time to tell her, I think for myself and look in her eyes. " I.. I need to tell you something.."
