Chapter 1
It was the award night and the most prestigious night for Sophia Grant, an actress known all over the world. Sophia had been an actress since she was in a very tender age and she is a very successful one.
Many people say she learned it or went to a school for being a thespian but Sophia was born with acting and definitely she had been doing a great job.
Once again for the past five years, Sophia was given the best actress award again and she can't be more grateful. Everywhere on the internet was bubbling, even Sophia was bubbling, she couldn't ask for more.
"Prepare me the hotel room" Sophia said, her manager nodded her head and drove to the hotel she already prepared.
In anything she does, she always avoids scandals like a plague, she has never been spotted with a man and that makes her fans like her more. She is a woman with dignity and she is a saint as they painted her.
Sophia sat in her bed sipping her wine while going through her i********: account where she has millions of followers. She smiled all to herself. Her achievement!
Suddenly, the door burst open and a man walked in. He looked poor, like someone that had been suffering for years but he's handsome. He looked drunk.
Sophia's eyes widened in surprise as the man stumbled into her hotel room. She quickly set her wine glass down and rose from the bed, her mind racing with concern.
"Who are you?" Sophia demanded, trying to keep her voice firm but calm. "How did you get in here?"
The man looked around the room, his eyes unfocused and his movements unsteady. He seemed to be taking in his surroundings, but his gaze kept drifting back to Sophia.
"You're...you're Sophia Grant," he slurred, his words barely intelligible. "I've seen your movies. You're...beautiful."
Sophia's instincts told her to be wary, but there was something about the man's words that struck a chord within her. Maybe it was the genuine admiration in his voice, or maybe it was the vulnerability that seemed to emanate from him.
"Sir, I think you've got the wrong room," Sophia said gently, trying to guide him towards the door. "You should probably go back to your own room and get some rest."
But the man resisted, his eyes locking onto Sophia's with an intensity that made her heart skip a beat.
"No, I don't want to leave," he said, his voice low and husky. "I want to stay here...with you."
Sophia's manager burst into the room, a look of alarm on her face.
"Sophia, I'm so sorry about this," she said, rushing to intervene. "I'll get security to escort him out."
But Sophia raised a hand, her eyes still locked on the stranger.
"Wait," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I think I want to hear what he has to say." Sophia's manager bowed and walked away. Sophia sighs, she doesn't know if she was doing the right thing but this man here is just too handsome for her to resist or maybe she's getting drunk from the wine too.
"I've always liked you, a pauper like me has always wanted to talk to you but never got the chance. You might take this as a drunkard's word but I love you Sophia Grant" he said, Sophia heart skip. That had never happened for six years now after her first lover betrayed her. Sophia was from a wealthy home but she never found love. Before she could think of what was going on, the man kissed her, Sophia wanted to push him but he's a good kisser or maybe she wanted this, so she started kissing him back.
It's going to be a long night.

Ryder
The following morning
The chilly morning brew blows into the room and that possibly wakes Ryder up. Memories of last night flashes in and he gasps, he stares at his sigh but there was no sight of Sophia.
"Looking for me?" Sophia said from the window, she was standing while holding a glass of red wine in a glass cup. She looked so sexy and classy, Ryder almost licked his lips but he controlled himself. Suddenly, a bunch of money was thrown to him and he frowned looking up at Sophia giving her a questioning look.
"What's this for?" He asked
"I'm giving you this so you can get your stinky self out of my eyes, travel out of this country, I don't ever want to see you again" Sophia said meanly. Ryder shook his head.
"I don't want your money, I just..." Sophia raised up her hand before he could finish.
"You love me?"
"Spare me the dramatics," Sophia said, her voice dripping with disdain. "You're just a drunk who stumbled into my room and took advantage of me. Don't try to spin this into some romantic fairy tale."
Ryder's face fell, but he refused to back down. "That's not what happened, and you know it," he said, his voice firm. "We connected, Sophia. I felt it, and I know you did too."
Sophia laughed, a cold, mirthless sound. "You're delusional," she said. "I was drunk, and I made a mistake. That's all it was. Don't try to turn it into something more."
Ryder's eyes flashed with anger, but he kept his cool. "I'm not delusional," he said. "And I'm not leaving until we talk about what really happened last night."
Sophia's expression turned ugly. "Get out," she spat. "Get out of my sight before I call security. You're just a pathetic little man who can't handle rejection."
Ryder's face stung from her words, but he stood his ground. "I'm not going anywhere," he said. "Not until you listen to me."
Sophia laughed for a while before turning more serious.
"You think someone like me will date some pauper like you? Look at yourself and tell what job you are doing? You have got to be joking with me, you are just a drunkard that happens to stomp into my room and you love me? Don't make me laugh" Sophia dropped another amount on the bed for Ryder. Ryder's eyes stung, it hurts, he had never been so humiliated and heartbroken before. He threw back the money at her.
"I don't ne
ed you money but mark my word Sophia Grant, I'm coming back for you”
