The following day, Ella resumed her job as a maid. Fortunately, Easton, had already left for work, and Ella was relieved to avoid an encounter with him. Miss Mary informed Ella that they needed to begin preparations for an important dinner that was to be held at the mansion over the weekend. Miss Mary explained that Mr. and Mrs. Hilton would be attending the dinner along with a guest, and that they needed to decorate the mansion and begin making preparations. Ella immediately set to work. They were kept busy with decorating, cleaning, and preparing food for the upcoming event. Ella found herself caught up in the whirlwind of activity, Ella toiled diligently until the evening shadows stretched long, so engrossed in her tasks that she had forgotten she had to avoid Eaton. Meanwhile, Eaton returned home from the office and strode into his opulent mansion. Eaton's weary footsteps echoed through the opulent mansion as he returned home from the office. His gaze scanned the familiar surroundings, but a flicker of unfamiliarity caught his attention. Amidst the grandeur, a figure with a long, black hair bun moved gracefully, he only saw her back. A sense of familiarity stirred within him, but he dismissed it as the new maid. Exhaustion weighed heavily upon Eaton's shoulders, and he longed for the solitude of his private chambers. With a heavy sigh, he retreated to his sanctuary, seeking refuge from the demands of the day. As he closed the door behind him, the flicker of familiarity lingered in his mind, a tantalizing mystery that he could not quite grasp. In the dim light of his study, Eaton sank into his leather armchair. The soft glow of the fireplace cast dancing shadows upon the walls, creating an atmosphere of both comfort and intrigue. As he leaned back and closed his eyes, the image of the figure with the long, black hair bun returned to his thoughts. Who was she? Why did she seem so familiar? Eaton's mind raced, trying to piece together the puzzle. He had never seen her before, but there was something about her that stirred a deep chord within him. Easton dismissed his thoughts and slept off As Ella completed her tasks, the hour grew late. The mansion slumbered in darkness, and the only sound was the gentle ticking of a clock. With no other option available, Ella sought refuge in the servants' quarters, where she drifted into a weary sleep. Unbeknownst to both Ella and Eaton, fate had brought them together once more under the same roof. Ella woke up in the mansion, yawning. The bed was so fluffy and comfortable that she could have stayed there forever. She freshened up and admired her room in the servant quarters. When she was done, she opened the door and saw Miss Mary. "Good morning, Miss Mary," Ella greeted her. "Good morning, Ella," Miss Mary responded. "How did you sleep last night?" "Very comfortably, thank you," Ella said. Miss Mary smiled. "Good. They both headed to the kitchen. "Oh, I have to prepare young master's breakfast," Miss Mary said. "Ella, can you help me draw a bath for Mr. Easton? Just arrange the water temperature." "Yes, Miss Mary," Ella replied. Ella couldn't say no, and she didn't want to encounter Easton. She carefully entered Easton's room. It was so big and elegant that she was in awe. Ella went to the bathroom and turned on the water. She adjusted the temperature until it was just right. Then, she added some fragrant bath salts to the water. When the bath was ready, She quickly did what she had to do and left the bathroom. As she walked away, she saw Easton standing shirtless in the doorway, his abs and powerful masculine figure on full display like a model, staring at his phone. She thought to herself, "Spoilt arrogant brat." She looked down so he wouldn't recognize her and said, "Good morning, Mr. Easton," and announce, "Your bath is ready, Mr. Easton." before walking away swiftly. Easton looked up to respond, but she was already gone. He noticed that her voice sounded familiar, but he ignored it. Ella walked back to the kitchen and helped Miss Mary prepare breakfast. They chatted as they worked, and Ella learned more about the Hilton family, They made pancakes, bacon, and eggs. When breakfast was ready, Miss Mary brought it to the dining room. Easton was already seated at the table, clad in a black suit and his hair still damp from his bath. With a daily newspaper in his hand, they greeted each other a polite "good morning." As Easton finished his breakfast, he rose from the table and prepared to leave for work at his large company. Miss Mary followed him to the door, offering him a warm smile. "Have a good day, Mr. Easton," she said. Easton nodded and stepped out into the morning sun. As he walked to his car, one of his escort opened the car door for him. As he drove to work, Easton thought about the day ahead. He had a number of important meetings scheduled, and he knew that he would be busy. Ella left the Easton Mansion early after finalizing her job. She decided to meet her friend Claire at a nearby cafe. As she waited for Claire, she couldn't help but smile, thinking about how much she had missed her friend. A few minutes later, Claire arrived, her face beaming with joy. They hugged each other tightly, their laughter filling the air. "I've missed you so much, Ella!" Claire exclaimed. "I've missed you too, Claire," Ella replied. Claire and Ella sipped their lattes and chatted about life. "How have you been?" Ella said "I've been great," Claire said. "I have some exciting news to share with you." Ella's eyes widened with curiosity. "What is it?" "I met someone," Claire said, her cheeks flushed with happiness. "His name is Ethan, and we met at the mall a few weeks ago." Ella's heart skipped a beat. She was so happy for her friend. "That's amazing, Claire! I'm so glad you've moved on from Dustin." Claire nodded, her eyes filled with gratitude. "Me too. Ethan is everything I've ever wanted in a man. He's kind, funny, and supportive." Ella listened intently as Claire gushed about her new boyfriend. She was genuinely happy for her friend and knew that she deserved to be loved and cherished. "I'm so happy for you, Claire," Ella said. "You deserve all the happiness in the world." They continued to talk for hours, catching up on each other's lives. "So, Ella, how's your job going?" Claire inquired. "Oh, it's wonderful!" Ella exclaimed. "I'm so happy working as a maid in the mansion." Claire's eyes widened in surprise. "That’s good to hear” "Yes," Ella continued, "and it turns out that the owner of the mansion, Eaton, is the same man who mistook me for a thief and abducted me, I’m working at the same mansion I was abducted, but he doesn’t know I’m working for him yet." Claire's eyes widened in surprise when Ella mentioned Mr. Eaton's name. "Wait, isn't that the same Mr. Eaton who mistook you for a thief in the past?" she asked. Ella nodded with a chuckle. "Yes,him. Claire gasped. "No way! That's incredible." "I know, right?" Ella said with a laugh. "It's such a small world." Ella shared about her job at the Easton Mansion, and Claire listened with rapt attention. As they talked, Claire's gaze fell upon a magazine on the table. Her eyes widened as she saw the handsome, sophisticated man on the cover. "Oh my God!" she exclaimed. Ella followed Claire's gaze and saw the same man. "That's Eason," she said, a hint of amusement in her voice. "Talk of the devil." "He's so hot," Claire said, her voice dreamy. Ella chuckled. "I know, right? Claire's eyes sparkled with admiration. "He's so hot," she whispered. "Ella, you have to hit on him. He's too fine to pass up.” Ella rolled her eyes. "Oh, come on," Claire urged. "Just look at him. He's so handsome." Ella sighed. "I know he's handsome," she admitted."But we're from different worlds. He's a millionaire, and I'm just a maid." "So what?" Claire said. "That doesn't mean you can't hit on him." Ella laughed. "Hit on him? Me? Are you crazy?" "Why not?" Claire asked. "You're beautiful and smart. You'd be perfect for him." Ella laughed again "He's probably only interested in women who are rich and famous," she said. "So what?" Claire countered. "Hit on him. You never know what might happen." Ella shook her head. "I can't. I dislike him. He's arrogant and self-centered." "Oh, come on," Claire teased. "You can't deny he's hot." Ella rolled her eyes. "He's okay, I guess." Claire laughed. "Okay? Ella, he's the hottest man alive!" Despite her protests, Ella couldn't help but feel a flutter in her heart as Claire continued to gush about Eason. As they finished their coffee, Claire couldn't resist giving Ella a playful nudge. As the evening drew to a close, they said their goodbyes, promising to stay in touch more often. Ella walked home with a smile on her face, feeling grateful for the wonderful friendship she had with Claire.
