Chapter 5

Jennifer’s POV    After all three guys kissed me on my cheeks, I giggled and tried to hide the fact that I was embarrassed my telling them, “Well, if that is how I am greeted when I get up in the mornings, I think I will go back to bed and get up again.     They smiled and Jason pulled me toward the food. There was a small plate with an egg and a couple of pieces of bacon and pancake.     I look down at it and frowned. “Oh, this just won’t do,” I thought, then I looked at the triplet’s plates that were each about half full. I quickly grabbed each plate and dumped its contents on my plate and then placed the place back in front of the triplet. I had all three of their plates completely empty and was happily eating my now full plate. The triplets were busy talking about some sort of kingdom business and it seemed to have them so caught up that, they didn’t even notice me emptying their plates. I continued eating my full plate and looked at Mary. She had her napkin over her mouth, trying not to laugh. About that time, all three of them put their forks on their plates to get some food and realized that all their food was gone. Each one turned to one of their brothers to accuse them and noticed they were in the same state. I just continued eating and talking to Mary about what she did during the day and if she needed help. I could see out of the corner of my eye that all three of them had looks of confusion on their faces, trying to figure out what happened. It looked like they thought it might be me, but seemed afraid to accuse me. I wasn’t sure if they were afraid to scare me away because I acted to scared last night, or because of my memory issues, or if it is something completely different, but they didn’t seem comfortable asking me if I took their food right out from under their noses. Just then three girls came in and started talking to the Kings. Jason, Justin and Jonathan talked with them, but I had a hard time not getting angry as they hung all over them. They were practically sitting on their laps.     “Jason, I was wondering if I could talk to you privately in your room,” the girl that was hanging on Jason stated.     “Justin, I would really like to talk to you in your room also,” the girl with her arms around Justin said in his ear.     “Yah, Jonathan, we are all having problem, could I”     Just then all three of the guy’s coffee cups broke and coffee went all over the boys and the nasty girls.     The girls screamed about their hair or something and ran out, and the boys turned around and looked at their coffee cups.     “Jennifer, calm down before you break something else, take a deep breath. You have to control you temper,” I heard Jasmine say.     "You mean I did that,” I asked her in my head.     “Yes, because you were jealous. You have to be careful.” Jasmine told me.     I swallowed, nodded and went to my room. I never thought that maybe they had girlfriends. Why were they kissing me on the cheek if they had girlfriends? I lay down on the bed, what was I going to do.     “We need to go and practice. Climb out of your window and go into the woods,” Jasmine told me.     I did as she said and walked until she told me to stop. We were in what looks like it could have been the former castle. It seemed like a good place to practice.     She had me practice lifting rocks and throwing them with my mind, over and over.   Jonathan’s POV    “What just happened?” I asked.     “I have no idea, first our food goes missing and then our cups blow up,” Jason says.     “Mary, do you have anything to say?” Justin asked.     “Well, I will not squeal on the food going missing, but it is no mystery. As for the cups, that was weird,” Mary said.     “So, Jennifer did take our food, good. She needs it more than we do. I am glad that she got her appetite back. Did you feel a change in her today? Maybe we should go talk to her,” Jason said.     “I agree, she seemed different and I don’t like the way she just left like that,” I told them. We all got up and went to her bedroom. Jason knocked, but there was no answer.     “Jennifer, it is us, please answer, we just wanted to check on you,” Jason said.     He knocked again, but still there was no answer.     We looked at each other.     “Jonathan, I feel her wolf, but she won’t let us talk with her. It is like she is purposely blocking us. I have tried and so has Dax and Dustin. We feel like there is some reason that they are hiding the fact that she knows she has a wolf. We think there is something important happening that we don’t know about. Also, we feel that she was held hostage and that the reason that she didn’t have her wolf was because it took all her wolves’ energy to help her escape. Those are the vibes we are getting from her wolf. In other words, she may be in very great danger.” Demetri my wolf tells me.     “Guys, our wolves have been trying to contact Jennifer’s wolf. They say that not only does she have her wolf back, but her wolf is purposefully hiding from them. They are really worried that Jennifer is in serious trouble. That she was being held captive and that was why she didn’t have contact with her wolf, it took all of her wolves’ energy just to free her and it took three days for her wolf to get her energy back. They all have a feeling that she is more important than we could possible imagine,” I told them.     When I was finished, Jason turned toward the door and opened it. The room was empty. She was gone, and the window was open.     We mind linked all the wolves. “Worriers and Royal Pack members, Your Future Queen is missing, has anyone seen anything,”     “Yes, Kings, she climbed out the window and headed into the north woods,” Matthew stated.     “Why didn’t you tell us,” I yelled through the link.      Matthew started stammering through the link. We called for everyone in the woods to be on the lookout and not to be seen if they were already in wolf form. If anyone sees her, they are to report to us immediately. Anyone not in the woods should start looking for her in human form, not wolf form. This was definitely a hinderance, because we could find her faster in wolf form because our senses were heightened when we were in our wolf form.     We all turned toward the door as it was opened.     “Why are all three of you in my bedroom,” Jennifer asked us.
