Chapter 6

Jason’s POVJennifer opens the door to her bedroom and looked at us. “Why are all three of you in my bedroom?” she asked. I looked at her. Was she serious? She walks into the room as if nothing is amiss. She just disappears out her window and then reappears and she is asking the questions? “We were worried about you. You left breakfast so quickly. We wanted to make sure that you were alright. Then when we get to your room, we find it empty. So, I think the better question is, ‘where were you’?” I asked. She opened her mouth and then closed it. Then opened it again. “I went for a walk in the forest.” She said. “Why did you find it necessary to go through the window?” Justin accused. “Well to tell you the truth, after a large breakfast, I just didn’t think I could stomach walking through the kitchen and seeing you three sucking face with those girls, or maybe you already had a line going. No telling how many girls you like to play with at one time. Now I want you to leave, I would like to lie down.” She stated. “Jennifer,” I started. “I am really not in the mood, I want to rest now, please leave,” she cut me off. I sighed and nodded me head. It was easy to see that now was not the time to plead our case. I started to walk out and felt that my brothers were following after. We left and closed the door. “What are we going to do?” Justin asked as he ran his hand through his hair. “Wait until she calms down and then plead our case, that we weren’t interested in them, but are interested in her.  Maybe take her out for a nice dinner or picnic at the waterfall,” I told them. They agreed that was a good option, if we could get her to go.   Jennifer’s POV“Jennifer, we should go and practice some more, I’m worried we will not be ready when they come,” Jasmine said. I sighed and got up. We snuck out the window again and went into the forest. “Last time we worked on rocks and earth. This time I want you to concentrate on the element water. You should be able to take any form of water and manipulate it into any other form. So, you should be able to produce snow from the river water or hail from rain,” Jasmine said. “How many elements are we going to work on,” I asked. “You have many different abilities. The ones we are going to concentrate on first is water, wind, the elements, weather, and fire. Later, we will want to work on becoming invisible and working on your shield, with your shield, you should be able to not only cover yourself, but the Kings. If you cover the Kings, it will cover the entire pack. You can use any of them now, you just do not have full control of any of them. That is what we need to work on. When you mate, your mates might be able to manipulate certain elements, meaning, each mate should get one element. There is also a chance that you will gain other powers. We will just need to wait to find out.” I worked for a while trying to move water, I was so tired and hadn’t gotten very far at all. “I think it’s time to call it a day,” I told Jasmine. I walked back toward the castle and I saw the Alphas running toward me. “Where have you been,” Jason asks when they get closer. “I decided to go for a walk,” I told them “You can’t just sneak out of your room and disappear, we were worried. Especially since we don’t know what happened to you to make you lose your memory,” Justin said. “We were really worried about you,” Jonathan said. I nodded. “I understand, however, you are not going to keep me locked in a tower like Rapunzel,” I told them. They gave me a confused look and I sighed. “The princess that was locked in a tower, with no doors,” I said They just looked at me. “We just think you need to have a few guards with you when you go out. Not many just a dozen or so,” Jason said. I gasped. “That is not going to happen. I have not ever had guards watching over me, and I will not start now,” I told them. I tried to calm down, because I could feel my temperature rising. “Well, we have instructed 12 of our best worriers to follow you anytime you leave the castle,” Jason said. I scowled. “If I feel even one worrier following me, I will disappear for good,” I said and walked away. They started to follow me and I really didn’t want to talk to them any longer, so I rolled rocks around in front of their feet. They all fell on their faces and I ran into the forest. I ran deeper into the forest and then up into the trees. It was weird that I felt so at home in the trees. I sat there and thought about the Kings. “What do you think I should do?” I asked Jasmine. “Let’s just take this one step at a time. Let’s stay out for a few days and see how they feel about ordering you around after that,” she said.   Jason’s POV“What the hell! How is it that we ALL found a rock on the ground to tripped over, giving her a chance to run away,” I asked. “I have no idea, I don’t remember there being any rocks on the ground when we walked up,” Jonathan said. “We need to go after her,” Justin said. We ran into the forest after her. Calling anyone that was still human to look for her and anyone that was in the forest and in wolf form, be careful because the future queen is in the forest and we do not know if she is aware of her wolf. We all headed into the forest to look for her. I couldn’t believe that she had run off like that.   Jennifer’s POVI heard my name being called and watched as the Kings walked right past me calling for me. I watched as pack members and worriers walked past me. None of them even looked up my way. I decided to have some fun and practice at the same time. The next time the Kings came around, I waited until they were a little way away and I started swirling the dust around them, making it hard for them to see. Before the dust settled. I sprang a few tree in the opposite direction so that if they looked up, they wouldn’t see me. When they came back toward where I had been sitting, I was near the lake, so I took the water and caused it to snow on top of them, hard enough that again they couldn’t see. Again, I jumped a few trees away so that they wouldn’t see me. I saw them walk toward me, after the snow. “What the hell is with this forest. I swear, it is like it has come alive. We need to find Jennifer before something happens to her, but I am worried about staying out here too long,” one of them said. They were too far away for me to figure out which had said it. “Jennifer, please come home, we are sorry. We will forget about the guards, if you will come home now,” one of them said. I smiled to myself and jumped down out of the tree right in front of them. “I knew you would see it my way,” I told them as I walked past them and into the castle. I could feel them following me. “You were in the tree,” Justin asked. “Yes,” I said. “I am going to my room now.” “Jennifer, we were wondering if you would go on a picnic with us,” Jonathan asked. “What would your girlfriends think,” I asked. “Those girls are just girls trying to gain status. We have never let anyone in our beds, and the only one we want in our bed is you,” Jason said. I looked at them. It was getting easier to tell them apart. Jason was the strong one, he was the one that called the shots. Justin was a jokester and Jonathan was the soft hearted and quite one of the bunch. “How about we go tomorrow,” I said. Jonathan smiled. “That would be great.”
