Coming of Age
Asa's POV
This morning I woke up to the most beautiful day. Not only is it my last day of high school but I officially turn 17 years old, dad promised me that mini cooper I have been dying for and I'm planning on having my 1st kiss with my boyfriend of 2 months Christopher. Nothing will bring me don today, not even that evil Jenny who has been after Christopher since she discovered we were dating. Today she was irrelevant, today was about me and my happiness and no one was going to ruin that.
I took a shower and blow dried my bleach blonde hair that fell to my waist and put on a short mini Adidas blue dress with my Nike white airforce one sneakers. After putting on light pink lipstick and grabbing my glittery school bag pack I made my way downstairs to join mom and dad for breakfast. They had prepared a nice pancake, bacon, syrupy and strawberries breakfast just like I like it. After breakfast mom and dad walked me to the garage to show me my brand new yellow mini cooper that was my birthday gift.
"You have proven yourself worthy of this baby my little princess, enjoy it and take care of it" dad said. I was so emotional "you are the most amazing parents any girl could ever ask for, I love you mom and dad" i responded. After a crying session i finally made my way to school and couldn't wait to show my best friends Claire and Deidre my new ride. I know Christopher was planning something for me for lunch time and was looking forward to the surprise.
I pulled up at school with my besties Claire and Deidre waiting for me with pink balloons and flowers in hand, I started crying again... god can this day be anymore perfect. We shared a hug and made out way to class. Lunch break came and Christopher had organized a mini celebration with cupcakes, a rainbow cake and some soda with some of his football teammates and friends as well as my besties. Jenny came by with her minions Lisa and Tammy and tried to make fun of the party but even they couldn't ruin my mood. Today was a perfect day.
*Meanwhile in Pavlopetri*
"Sire I finally think we have located the lost princess" the chief soldier said
"Are you sure your incompetence is not taking over again? Last you were certain we were exposed to the humans and nearly made ourselves be seen" the king said
"We are certain this time sire, we have been keeping tabs on the sorcerer who helped in hiding her nd caught her off guard as she was keeping tabs on her on earth"
"Very well then what are you floating there for get a one of the royal sorcerer's to mix you a portion to travel to the surface. I need you to bring her to me alive"
"Yes sire" the soldier responded, bidwill get a team right away.
"And oh Cassius I want no mistakes or else your family and those related to them will suffer your failure" the king said
