We were driving down the highway, ten wolves packed into this van alone, while the other vans followed along behind us. I sat in the front seat, next my brother Aaron, who was driving, his gripping his hand so tightly on the wheel his knuckles were turning white. My father was in the van behind us, keeping an eye on the wolves there, much to my relief. I didn't know if I would be able to cope with him sat next to me.  I stared out the window to the grey and dismal landscape we drove through. Outside there was a a series of fields and grassland for farmers, as well as a handful of homes and buildings. In the distance, the Eastern mountains loomed, as foreboding as ever.
