How did I end up being alone with Valerie? Raven went home to deal with some matters in the office and asked Valerie to take her place before returning this afternoon. It wasn’t this awkward with Raven last night.
Why am I this nervous when I’m alone with Valerie? I couldn’t think straight when Valerie was here.
“How was the breakfast?” Valerie asked when I cleaned the table after having my breakfast.
“It’s delicious. Thank you, aunty.” Valerie nodded before reading the newspaper again. I have nothing to say to her- my hands have been shaking since Valerie arrived.

“Are you alright? Your hands have been shaking since I arrived.” I smiled at Valerie before grabbing my hand.
