26th December, 2013It was Boxing Day – the time of year to go shopping and for foreign footballers to rejoice at plying their trade in England. This year saw Shyton United away to the home of the Canaries; Norwich City. Shyton United were hoping to turn the gas way up on this bunch of canaries.
Norwich – known for its mustard, its turkeys, and its famous mustard turkey sandwiches, was perhaps most famous for knocking out Bayern Munich in the second round of the 1993-1994 UEFA Cup. Would a shock be on the cards that night? Shyton United were riding high in the league playing the dourest football since Greece won the European Championships in 2004. Could they see off yet another Premier League lightweight?
