24th February, 2014In light of the robberies, those bumbling police officers at Shyton police station had decided to interview Dwayne and Cheryl. Quite why they elected to interview them I had no idea. My cousin just happened to be a detective at that particular station and so I managed to get ringside seats for when Cheryl and Dwayne were interviewed.
DI Bud Davis was an ageing detective (not my cousin) who smoked one too many cigarettes, drank one too many Scotch’s, had had one too many Gregg’s iced buns, and modelled himself after Lewis Collins from the TV show ‘The Professionals’. He eyed Dwayne suspiciously, as Dwayne did the same to him.
DI DAVIS: What you staring at?
DWAYNE: What are you staring at?
DI Davis went around the other end of the table opposite Dwayne and Cheryl.
