20th January, 2014After reading Ricardo’s tweet that he had finally recovered from playing Stoke City, we went to his house to pay a visit. As well as the numerous portraits of Ricardo, the home was now like a house of mirrors but with more mirrors than a house of mirrors because there were mirrors on the ceilings and the floors too! No wonder the owner of the local mirror shop, (who was affectionately known as ‘Man in the Mirror’), had recently been able to purchase a brand new four-storey townhouse.
In Ricardo’s lounge that was more a shrine to him than a lounge, Ricardo posed in the buff for yet another painting. He had a crown of leaves on his head and a single leaf covering his gentleman. He lay on a Roman style couch as a curly-haired artist added the final touches to a canvas.
