17th December, 2013Much to my surprise because they’d kept it so hush-hush, I was invited to the brand new opening of Shyton’s latest nightclub, ‘Jackson Bang’s Phat Hos’. The nightclub was a joint venture of Sonny Jackson and Li Bang, with a little assistance from Huge Jack—who seemed to have his fingers in everything. As you could guess by the name, it was a rather sleek, stylish, Chinese/Western fusion joint with scantily clad females (both Chinese and western) dancing on platforms. It had loud hip-hop music and everything else that was required of a nightclub.
I met with Sonny and Li upstairs in their office on opening night to find out more about the business, and themselves. Even in the office the music was thumping, causing everything to vibrate, including my lone kidney.
