14th December, 2013Shyton United faced a daunting trip to Goodison Park, the home of Everton Football Club. With the weather going from nippy to frosty, and with so many lads hailing from more exotic climates, was it a worry that they wouldn’t be able to do it on a chilly day in the North West?
MAURY: Not at all. We bought players with balls. Come rain or shine, our players will perform. Once the referee blows his whistle, the lads will be warmed up in no time.
I then got a quick word with K-Y before he went into the changing room. Training with the foreign lads every day, he’d surely know whether they could handle it.
