Blurb

Tied and spread open for their pleasure, my three men looked at me like I was the best meal they'd ever been served.

"We're going to ruin you, little flower," Cassian growled, sliding one thick finger into my weeping cunt.

"She's already anticipating it," Silas murmured, cupping my breasts.

"So innocent. So needy for our corruption," Orion said, low against my ear.

Eleanor thought escaping her family's cruelty meant she was finally free.

She was wrong.

Five years later, Laura came back. And took everything.

Her womb. Her mate. Her title as Luna.

In exchange, she became a servant in the same Pack house she once ruled.

The cruelty followed her to the Royal Pack, and by a stroke of luck, she got a job there.

But it's only the beginning of another phase of cruelty as the Triplet Kings take an interest in her. Many women thought they deserved it instead of a lowly, wolfless omega.

Then she heard the news: the Lycan Alphas will be hosting the Ritual Hunt again after so many years.

Eleanor enters with one plan in mind. Don't win. Take the participation money and run off to the human world.

After all, why die for a kingdom that's brought her nothing but pain?

But she won. And not just that, she's the mate they've been searching for.

Before she can even enjoy it, fate throws one last punch: she's the daughter of the rogue Alpha they're at war with, planted in the palace to guarantee their downfall.

Now she has to choose. The men who claimed her. Or the blood that made her.

Losing it all
The doctor repeated the words, as if it would be easier to hear the second time. "Your womb, there's nothing left to save, Eleanor. The damage was too advanced by the time you got here." They sank in now, and the first thing I felt was absolute horror. My body looked frail in the transparent window to my left but it was my eyes that caught my attention. There was so much pain in it. "There should be something you can do, Doctor," I pleaded, shaking my head. "I'm your Luna. How's that position supposed to hold up if I can't bear our Alpha a child?" "I'm sorry Luna, but the poison ate too deep. It's a miracle you even survived the ordeal. Your lungs were affected too but I did my best to heal that part. Your womb however, didn't make it." My hands shook as I turned to stand up. "Careful," the doctor whispered but I could barely hear anything. I was losing my f*****g mind and I had no idea how to stop that from happening. How can I have no womb? How do I explain this to Kieran? How do I explain to the Pack that their Beta's daughter poisoned me out of jealousy? FLASHBACK It's been five years since I escaped her cold eyes. She was devastated when Kieran turned out to be my mate and worse, he accepted me despite all the grumbles and disapproval. It was so bad that she had to travel to the Royal Pack for some unknown special training. Today, I woke up with bats and pins in my stomach because I heard she was coming back. I'd hoped Laura would find her mate there and move on, but as I watched her come down from the car from my balcony, I feared the worst. I went back to my room, reminding myself she's not supposed to be my concern. After all, I'm Luna now. Her vicious hands can't get to me again. I was preparing the Pack's monthly financial reports when I heard a knock on my door. "Who's there?" I asked, dropping the pen. I'm the only one in this Pack who asks a question like that. Everyone else can smell whoever it is. "It's Laura, your sister." My heart dropped in my stomach. I hurried to the door, but I suddenly stopped myself. I'm not supposed to be rushing to do her bidding anymore, I'm no longer under her tyranny. When I opened the door, I was shocked beyond belief. The shining flower that was Laura looked wilted, her neck bones showing and her lips dry. "What is... are you okay?" Tears flowed from her eyes on demand. Just like they always did when she'd do something and make our parents punish me for it. Or maybe she's genuinely in pain, and I'm stuck in the past. I'm supposed to be a graceful and kind Luna, not vengeful. So I opened the door and let her in. "What happened out there?" "I met my mate Ellie. He was a guard and he rejected me." "How could anyone do that? Is he insane?" I wondered out loud, scrunching my face. She was the pride of the Pack, she had an uncanny beauty that hid the cruelty in her. Many girls our age trailed after her like bees to honey. Many men wished she'd turn out to be her mate. So the idea of someone rejecting her seemed.. strange. "You don't believe me?" She gasped, her lips shaking "What? Of course I believe you. Please sit down. Let me help you with that," I carried the bag off her shoulder and showed her to a chair. "I thought I'd found my own happiness but it seems all I ever get is punishment for how I treated you." "How you.. Laura, Karma isn't a real thing, Laura. He was probably in love with some girl before you showed up." She shook her head, "No. I'm sure it's because of the way I treated you. I got you something as an apology, hopefully you can forgive me so I can go back and beg him." Oh, that's why she's here. I don't even know how to feel about all of this happening, but I pushed her bag to her and she opened it in a hurry. She pulled out a pack of chocolates and handed it over to me. "I know it's small and nothing compared to what I've done to hurt you but please, forgive me? I'll be out of your hair I swear." "I... Laura.." "Please Ellie. Besides, I'm.. dying." My heart lurched. "Dying? Don't make such horrid jokes Laura, you're perfectly fine!" "You can see it in my eyes, my skin. I've gotten sick for a year now and there's no cure for it. I just want to have one last happy year with my mate before leaving this world. Please forgive me, Ellie, that's the only way. Don't be as cruel as I was." "Okay, okay, I forgive you! I promise you are forgiven. What else can I do? Do I need to pray or something?" "No, just accept my gift. It's symbolic." I nodded, cupping the pack of chocolate. "Yep. Accepted. Is that it?" "No Eleanor, you have to eat it. What if you throw it away when I leave here? How will I be sure you've truly forgiven me? Please don't let me die unhappy." I tore the wrap open in seconds and took a large bite. "There," I mumbled as I chewed, "I've eaten it. Can you tell me what the sickness truly is now? I'm very good with herbs and I can..." I paused as a sharp pain hit my chest. It felt like acid was slipping down my chest and burning a fiery path. "Are you alright?" I looked at Laura, at the smirk slowly sipping into her expression. "What.. what did you do to me?" I choked out. "Oh that? It's wolfsbane. Any true werewolf would have smelled it but fortunately for me, you have every weakness a wolf should have but none of its benefits. It's like taking candy from a child," she laughed. "No, no, why do you want me dead?" I cried, crumbling to the ground. The pain was intense, it was overwhelming and I couldn't help screaming. "KIERAN!" My mate didn't come in until minutes later when I was curled on the floor, gasping for air. The second he opened the door however, I watched with teary eyes as Laura ran to him, crying profusely. "My Alpha! Please don't listen to anything she has to say! I came to beg her so we can at least get along now that I'm back in the Pack and don't have a mate but instead of forgiving me, she said she's going to feign pain so you will send me to the dungeons!' "Is that true, Eleanor?" "No," I croaked, "please Kieran.. take me.. to the hospital.. she.. poisoned me." The chocolate was still in my hand but he shook his head. "You should be able to forgive your sister, Ellie darling. Hasn't it been five years already? Stop acting like this, she genuinely wants to reunite with you." I groaned in pain as the poison spread to my stomach. "Alpha, please come with me. I want to tell my parents something and I really need someone like you beside me. She'll stop acting once she has no audience. Please. It's really important." "Alright Laura," he agreed without hesitation, and followed her out. At the door he turned to me, "Seriously, Ellie, if you keep doing this, I might change my mind about this relationship." The door shut in front of me and darkness filled my vision.
