Christine's POV
The following morning at work might come straight to me. I do not know what he wants from me. I do not know why he came into my office, because if he thinks that I am going to restore him as a surgeon, then he is making a bigger mistake. I look up from the paperwork that I hate doing. Mike is just standing there waiting for me. I can see that he is feeling uncomfortable. If he is going to come and beg me for his position back, he is making a mistake, and he will take the pay cut that comes with being only a general practitioner.
