Maya sat at a round table with a few other volunteers finishing up lunch. This was her second week at the day camp, and she loved every minute. She was part of the 5-7 age group, which consisted of 30 kids from Dustin's pack. Once school started, she would be completely trained to help with the after-school program. When she graduated, she would be able to work part-time while taking classes at one of the local colleges if she wanted to. They were already encouraging her to go that route.
