Jessica sat at the table next to her dad and watched her pack members talking and having fun in the dining room. “Dad, I wanted to let you know that I found my mate.” He looked at her with a small smile, “I know.” Her eyes brows shot up, “you do?” He nodded and speared a fork full of green beans. “Yeah, you smell different.” Jessica blushed. “And you’ve made a lot of effort to hide your neck.” This time she choked on her water. Coughing she pushed back from the table. “So you let me just act weird all evening?” Her dad laughed, “yeah, I was waiting for you to be comfortable enough to tell me but it’s been a little funny too.” Jessica clicked her tongue in annoyance. “Well, I’m getting dessert but just for that I’m not bringing you anything back.” She huffed off to the dessert table and sn
