"love birds! What are you still doing here when the assembly is held already" it was a voice from Daniel my friend.

As we heard this,we parted our ways to the assembly ground.There was a teacher then,Mr Johnson,If he meet us there talking and discussing when the assembly is held already,he would pu__nish and be_at us merciles__sly.There was a day simbi and John, our classmates were caught hanging around the school when the assembly is held.They were caught by Mr Johnson himself.They were beaten up publicly in the assembly ground.Mr Johnson took them to the assembly ground and beat them.When he finished beating them,He asked them to be doing frog_jump punish_ment from 8:30 till 11:30am.If I could remember very clearly,it took simbi and john more than three days before they could be walking as they walk.So,ever since that day,I don't hang around whenever it's time for assembly.Because what simbi and john faced from Mr Johnson has taught me a lesson.

Jummy joined girls assembly's line and I joined boys' own.But even as we were both in the assembly ground,we kept looking at each other playfully.

"Concentrate jhor" I told her using a sign language.

"You Nkor?" Why are you also not concentrating?" Jummy also replied back using a sign language.

Though,I usually watch in nollywood movies where two lovers would be communicating using sign language but I don't believe it happens,Until when it happened to me.

When I was about to concentrate with the speech the proprietor was dropping in the assembly ground,then Jummy whistled at me:

"Meewweeeeeeeee....shiiiii" Jummy whistled.

I couldn't help but looked at her again.

Before Jummy and I started talking friendly,she use to be a very quite student.she doesn't talk with anybody.Even there were times,Other students think she couldn't talk.But,I read a quote that was written by author heamam "we all feel happy and comfortable when we are people we love".Maybe that's why she feels comfortably whenever she is talking or discussing with me.

As I looked at her,she used her fingers to draw a love sticker.I couldn't hold it,I laughed.

"Do yours back nah" Jummy said,with a lower voice.

Her voice was very lower because we were in the assembly ground.But,I managed to hear it as a lover bird.

But,When I was about to draw my own,I heard a thundering voice.

"What's this non___sense you're doing in the assembly ground?" It was a voice from Mr Johnson.
