I Will Catch You

Beginning

I was happily running down the stairs to tell the great news to my family. They were confused about my behaviour, I was so excited to tell them that I got accepted to the Paranormal University of Loch Ness in Scotland. My mum stood up, hold my hand and started jumping with me. Dad stayed on the sofa, kept back his proud tears then he stood up to give me a father bear hug. I thought I'm going to die of oxygen loss. And well, my brother was also happy, but just because he will get my room when I leave. Anyway deep, very deep down in him, I know he will miss me. Both of my parents are paranormal scientists and hunters. I always respected their job and said to myself, one day you will be just like them. I will find my first medusa snake, invent the vampire curse cure and explore a new island with a cannibal tribe. There are loads of these islands in the world we just hide them from humans.

-Oh My God, I have to tell this news to Hanna. I hope she got excepted too!

-Okay, but don't stay late, we will celebrate with a feast tonight.- said it mum with joy. I knew she will make, well order my favourite food, sushi.

Hanna is my best friend, we finished high school together. At first sight, when we saw each other, I thought we will never be friends. I found her annoying and she hated me because I was smart or how she said, a nerd. Once I saw her crying in the girls' bathroom. I wasn't sure what to do, but in the end, I went to her to ask what is wrong and since then we are unsplittable. Oh, you ask what was the problem? Well her parents were expecting a baby boy, Hanna's little brother. I have to say I know how she felt.

I got my feet as fast as possible to get to her house. She lived two blocks away, not so far but my excitement couldn't wait. I went through their garden, I wanted to surprise her. I was in front of her window where I could see her very clearly in the living room. She was watching a horror movie, staring at the screen, frozen of fear. I got the chance, I was knocking on the window and pushed my hands on it like a creep. Hanna was so frightened that she threw her pillow to the window. I laughed so hard that I couldn't breathe.

-Nina, for god sake, if you do this again I will go to your house and I'll kill you in your sleep-she was so cute when she tried to threaten me.

-I have to tell you something- I had to make a very serious face.

-Is something wrong?- she said it in a worried voice.

-Yes...I got into P.U.L.N.(Paranormal University of Loch Ness)

Hanna was so happy that she jumped into my arms, I almost fell.

-I am so proud of you. Now, I have to check my emails.

We were staring at the screen I was trying to be as positive as possible and ignore the word "what if". Then Hanna clicked in the email.

- Dear Hanna Swift, we are glad to inform you that you got accepted to P.U.L.N.......-we read it out loud together.

The last step we had to do was to celebrate.
