This is amazing and I still can't believe from what I'm seeing. This is our old neighborhood, Aunt Josephine, Uncle Bob, Aunt Melissa and the other old geezers of this neighborhood. I love this, I can now treasure this unlike before, this nostalgic feeling.

I'm really thankful to what happened to me but it doesn't mean that going back in the past means I have the authority to change the future or maybe I do, if not why return? Usually the protagonist of a love story that travel through time, search for the person they love but I am not like that. I need information first. I know where Sarah live so searching for her is meaningless.

First is this a reenactment of the past? But I guess it is not because I have free will and already change few things. If this is a reenactment it should be something like me just watching myself and doing what I did before. So that would also mean that I am not dead and just seeing my past life.

I didn't came back as a 32 years old Kersh but a 20 years old Kersh. It means that my friends and relatives will get confused if I act differently.

Should I buy some cigarettes and some beers? Because when I went to Mary Ann's house, I brought some beers and cigarettes with some of those crazy flavored stones.

Today is our first anniversary since we became a couple however I do not have any more feelings with her, this actually bad. I don't know what to do. Should I talk to Bryan and ask for an advice? But why would I ask for an advice from a kid whose mentality is even younger than me?

This is complicated, will this change my memory if I change the past? I mean today we supposed to do it but if I went there and end our relationship what will happen? Oh No! I don't know what to do! Maybe I should go to the local library first and read something about time travel and some novels about it. I still have some time so I better study first! Okay, this will work. I hope so because if not, I might die.

Yes right, if I change the future I might change the date of my death but wait a minute? Would this mean that if I change something means that there is a chance that I will never see Sarah or if I changed something and I met Sarah, would this mean that her death is inevitable?

This is so confusing! But I'm impressed to myself, 12 years ago I wouldn't be able to think like this. I don't use my upper head often but the other head, I used it a lot! Anyway enough with the chit-chat.

Wait a minute?! There is this kid who likes sciences and stuffs, what was that kid name again? Was is it JR? I remember Bryan mentioned it to me that a new kid in town lived around the street. How should I meet this kid?

I have my very first phone but I don't have their numbers. How should I call Bryan to ask? Knowing him, he should be in the basketball court, he loves to play and he is also a playboy. That pretty face chick boy!

Enough with the negative thoughts, looking at this old neighborhood is refreshing, it feels like my I'm a new born baby. Stress-free! Wait, what?! Wow! That black dog is too young. I remember seeing him yesterday and he is so old. Wait?! If it is 2006 then I saw him in the next 12 years! That is so cool! I feel so young again!

That young little girl, if she's living there then it means that young little girl is young Cassandra? How a cute little girl like this turned in to a wild and loud girl? The boys in her age fear her and doesn't go near her. She look so vulnerable! I think she was 18 from my original timeline.

And that grocery store! I often buy Piattos and Coke there. I should buy a lot of Piattos while it is still not expensive. Men, if they know that for the next year those junk foods and soft drinks would doubled it price. Maybe I should earn money and save it. Investment is important. If I haven't met Sarah, I will never be able to buy a car and a house.

After this turn to the right should be the court.

I finally came to the basketball court! It looks so disgusting! How can I play in here? Well 3 years from now the Barangay Captain would rebuild this court.

I'm looking for Bryan when suddenly someone gave me a forbidden heaven and earth, river and lake technique. "Nyah!" I shouted. That startled me, who was that?! That really hurt my butt!

"Hey yow, Kersh!" Someone said. I turned around and it was Bryan. This chickboy, I'm gonna punish this kid. I'll teach you how a big guy play. 12 years of difference, I learned a lot so you better watch out.

I am young, I can do that thing with this young body! "Don't do that Bryan, it hurts." I said to let his guard.

"Sorry my bad." He said.

So you let your guard down. I'll show you the roundhouse back technique I learned when I came first in manila to fight against thieves! "Hiyah!" I shouted as I show him who the boss is. Learn your lesson, boy!

"And he is down! You can't see me!" I shouted while imagining the background music of John Cena but s**t! "I messed up, I was looking for him to ask for that JR. I should have been serene. Wow I never thought I would use a formal word in this age!" I said it as I laugh.

"Yes you are right and you are strange. You are the first person I saw that can do a roundhouse back here in the Philippines." A beautiful Japanese looking girl said to me.

"Who are you?" I asked. I never saw this young admiring woman.

"My name is Jinko Roxanne, it means Benevolence of a Bright Sun. My last name is Dela Cruz. So my name means Benevolence of the bright sun of the cross." She explained.

"Wow, I never met a person in the Philippines with a name that has a deep meaning." I said with sarcasm.

"Well yes, I heard from my father that Filipinos nowadays doesn't really give a deep meaning to their child's name. As long as it sounds pretty or awesome it would be okay. Am I correct, Kersh?" She said.

"I get that but why are you talking to me and with how you talk, does it mean that you're not from the Philippines?" I asked. But wait a minute? Why I didn't ask why she know my name? Maybe after her reply. I still have the chance.

"Well yes, I was born in Kyoto, Japan. I came last year for my bachelor's degree. I'm 18 by the way. I was just a little bit ahead for my age but I didn't know that here in the Philippines, I'm quite old for being a freshman. I'm talking to you because here this guy, Bryan was actually hitting on me earlier and when he saw you he said your name and told me that you are his friend and another reason why I'm talking to you is you said JR, and my name is JR." She said.

I lost my chance to ask her! Damn it! But I didn't expected this, I thought that JR is a guy but she is actually a girl. Why I didn't know about this, I mean Bryan brings a lot of beautiful girls in the hideout but I never saw this girl? I didn't saw her in town or in bars. Maybe I'm too focus on Mary Ann at that time.

"Well I am Kersh and I heard from Bryan that you like time travel? And I'm kind of in to it so I was hoping if you could spare some time?" I asked.

She gently smile and said. "I like you, okay we can talk about that. It is rare to see someone who can do a roundhouse back. We should walk as we talk" She said.

"What happened? Did someone kicked me my head?" Bryan said. I feel sorry for him. I should not have done that but sorry I have to go, and then I left with JR.

This Japanese girl is beautiful, she has a medium skin color, black hair, black eyes, and curly hair. This is not a Japanese Teen I'm imagining of. Her eyes look fierce, as if an eye that can kill a man.

She is not talking, she just keep on walking, what a strange woman. Why is she so quiet? I can't wait any longer, I better asked her without hesitation, "Which theory is mostly like true? Does a person can change his future if he can go back in time or even if he go back in time, he is just like a water in the ocean like going with the flow?" I said.

"Easy tiger." She said as she gently laugh.

"Hey don't tease me, I just want to know about it." I said.

"Don't be serious but let see, changing the past and going back to the past? Don't you think that by just going to the past has already changed the present yet the future is still a mystery for us." She said.

"I don't get it, what do you mean?" I said to her.

"Think of it like a video game. Some video games has check points. We can assume it like a game. In game the Hero can go back in time using a check point whenever he die, however it doesn't necessarily means that he can change the future. Look in a game you could either win or lose so if you die, you must repeat until you win. It only means that you only have one set of future. However in a game it is not just about finishing it, remember that you can unlock some characters or find a rare item or a secret passage which you may or may not encounter. For example that you are the Hero and I am one of those character you can meet. In this timeline we may met however if you travel back and we didn't meet me it won't affect you, your life still continue as it goes. This mean meeting me or not is unnecessary." She explained.

"Does this mean that there is fixed future and there are these unlock characters, rare items and secret passage that either I may have or not and still it won't change the future?" I said.

"Well technically we could say that the objective of the game is finishing the game which is same in real life. Our objective is to live happily or to have family. Well I'm not actually certain because no one has ever had the answer or if they, maybe it is better to be untold. But for the sake of the argument, let me explain. The characters to unlock are the people we may or may not meet which will may help us or not in our lives, then the rare items are objects that you may possess like having car, house, luxurious item or just figurine that may or not affect your life, then the secret passage is maybe the experience we could have that will make our life more adventurous but of course not everyone can have that. Not unless you have the ability to go back in time but that depends if you went back in time like in the game. I conclusion, time travel can be the same as playing a video game." She said.

"That is so informative, thank you." I said.

"But it also means that if someone died in your time it means that you could either save her or not. The future is a mystery and we aren't sure if the future exist. I mean the future is the results of what is happening right now so technically I don't think if someone change the future means a lot." she said.

"But anyway thank you, I've learned a lot and that is enough. I enjoyed the conversation, I have to go, and I have to meet someone. Again, thank you JR." I said to her.

That is really cool. I never met a woman like her. She's so smart, what she said make sense. I have now the confident. I can do this!

After that I left JR, and then run towards the house of Mary Ann.
