John was comfortable on the couch with a cushion under his head as he watched Superstore on Hulu. Liz was sitting in between his legs. He had one of his legs on top of hers, as she laid with her back against his chest and both of them focused on TV.
Darcy was in her laps, wrapped in a floral blanket. Liz was running her fingers through Darcy's hair when Alex, Jay and Jasper entered the living room.
“MERRY CHRISTMAS!” The twins yelled, jumping off Jasper's arms and running towards the couch.
Darcy smiled brightly and turned towards them, fidgeting in Liz's arms to free herself from the blanket.
“Merry Christmas,” John said, sitting straight when Liz stood up to place Darcy on the floor. The little girl threw the blanket and turned towards the twins.
