It was Christmas eve.
I and Liz were watching a holiday movie, while John was decorating the Christmas tree with Darcy. I offered to help them but John declined it, telling me that I should take some rest because of the crappy month I had.
He was right about that one. Things had not been good for Luna for the last two months.
Mom and Dad were visiting some farm owned by Liz in Colorado with some of their friends, including Jasper's parents. Jasper invited everyone to his place for Christmas, but Mr. Lightwood wanted to celebrate the holidays away from city life. Spring Falls was the first destination that came up in our mind, but it was thrown out soon after. A town like Spring Falls wasn't much different from a city.
