Wyatt's P.O.V.
I stood by my window and watched the Beta of the mountain water pack leave with his bag and warriors. He had just pulled my sister out of my office, so why would he be leaving now? That's when I heard my sister running up the stairs and I could feel her pain from her aura as my brothers and I ran up to her room to find out what was wrong. When we walked into her room and asked what was wrong, I had never expected to hear the words that came out of her mouth. "He rejected me," then when she fell and hit the ground unconscious. Our brother Drake was the first one to her, lifting her up and running out of the room and down to the pack hospital. I linked our parents and told them what had happened. By the time we got to the room the doctor assigned for her, my mom was holding Ava to her chest and trying to wake her up.
My dad and brothers were talking to the doctors and explaining what had happened. He just said she needed some rest and that she should be ready for her party tonight. My dad just turned and walked into Ava's room. I knew what he was feeling, he was pissed and wanted answers about why a beta of a low-ranked pack would reject his daughter, who was of alpha blood and of the highest ranking pack. Theo, Arthur and I walked back to my office and started trying to call the Mountain Water pack. We needed to know what was going on, as next in line for alpha Arthur, he pulled out his phone and called the alpha of Mountain Water Pack and demanded to know why their Beta would reject my sister. He said that the Beta had chosen to take a chosen mate because she was pregnant, but all of our opinions were the same. Arthur said one thing I never expected, "Alpha Mason, I do not think it will be necessary for you or your pack to attend any event, no matter what it is, if it is held at Blood Heart Pack. As for us being allies, that is something I will have to discuss with my brothers and my sister." "I am truly sorry, Arthur, but you are yet to be named alpha, so the only one that can make those calls is your father," Mason said.
I sometimes swear my dad has the power to be summoned when he is talked about, because he walked in just as alpha Mason finished talking. "Alpha Mason, it is alpha Kale. We will no longer be allied with your pack, we will no longer be doing business together. I do not know what you think you're, but Arthur is going to be sworn in soon and, with the attitude you have, it is not something Arthur wants as a representative. Thank you for your time, I will tell the other alphas here that partnered with your pack and mine that we are no longer allies." With that, my dad hung up on him.
"Wyatt, have the guards tighten the patrols for the remainder of the week, make sure they know we are no longer allied with that pack and none of their people are allowed on the pack grounds. If there is any of their pack, round them up and explain what happened and send them back by car," my dad said before he motioned for Theo to follow him out. I couldn't imagine they would leave anyone or come back to start anything. Alpha Mason was around Theo's age.
Theo and his mate Raychel are both teachers. Arthur is still waiting for his mate, but he being the middle child, we all felt he should be alpha, and our parents loved the idea when we told them our feelings about who should be the next alpha. Drake found his mate Mellody three months ago, and they are training to be Arthur's Gamma and Gamma female, while me and my mate Kaitey were training to be Arthur's Beta and Beta female. All of us, even our mates, adore and love Ava. I knew none of us wanted to tell our mates because they would be out for blood. Ava was like their own little sister, not just a sister-in-law. Raychel walked in and looked pissed, so I knew someone spilled the beans to the girls.
