The rest of the evening was amazing, Joshua's father even asked to dance with Reign. He wasn't a bad man...just a bit old fashioned and stubborn, but he promised to try to be happy for his daughter. By the end of the night we were all drunk and happy. All four of us decided to spend the night at The Washington Mansion. It was fun for Reign to see Joshua's old room. "Well, this is something" He chuckled because it didn't exactly fit his now personality. "Oh stop it" he said kissing her forehead "I went through a bit of a I hate everyone phase right before college" He said pulling her onto his lap as he say at his desk. "mmm my sister went through that....at seven". she said laughing. "Come on let's get you out of this dress and to bed we both have to go back to our chaotic work lives tomorrow" His fingers gently unlaced the corset ties and he slide the gown gently down her body. Joshua kissed Reigns bare shoulder. "Here, arms up angel" He said as he slide his highschool football jersey over her body. He picked her up and carried her bridal style to the bed. The next morning They both got up to go home and get ready for work. Elena and Everly decided to stay. Reign and Joshua were both in a rush when they got to the apartment. They barely had enough time to kiss each other goodbye. When Reign got to work she had a few meetings and some Paperwork. Around three Vanessa came to her office they both looked exhausted. "I'm leaving early...I have a date to get ready for" Reign smiled and glanced over at Edwin who was sitting on her couch typing up notes blushing "mhm and do I by any chance know this date?" Reign asked teasing her. Nessa rolled her eyes "Changing the subject. what are you wearing to your fathers party this weekend?" Reign honestly had no clue. "hmm I'm not sure but Joshua and I will probably match since I will be finally introducing him to my dad" Vanessa's face fell like she was trying not to state the obvious. "And Simone" Ah yes my she devil of a older sister. Apparently her life has been falling apart, she hasn't had a modeling or acting job in months and she's become a housewife. Karmas a b***h. "I'm done playing nice with her, she has some kind of chip on her shoulder about me. That's fine. but she will not ruin my life again. I will not give her the opportunity" Vanessa had the look of a proud parent on her face "That's my little rain drop" Reign rolled her eyes and closed her laptop. "I'm sure this place won't fall apart, come on let's all go home early" she said standing up and grabbing her purse "But Dr.Wilcox your notes..." Reign crossed her arms over her chest "Edwin so help me God if your late picking my best friend up for this date" He chuckled as he closed his laptop as well. "Very well Dr.Wil....I mean Reign." Everyone left and went home, when Reign got home, she gave the cooks and the maids the night off. She grabbed some steaks, which were her husband's favorite, she grabbed some potatoes and greens. She prepared the greens the way her mother used to, and started on the potatoes. She knew Joshua liked his steak a bit rare so she'd wait to cook that. As the food was cooking Reign quickly went to the bedroom and changed into some lingerie and a dress that she knew Joshua would like. It was long and dark green like her eyes and it had a split up the side, that didn't leave much to the imagination. She walked back in the kitchen to see a tall man stirring her greens. "I wanted to surprise you" she pouted. Joshua chuckled as he turned around stuffing his face with some greens. "Well i am pleasantly surprised...Thank you for cooking dinner for me" he said walking over to her and kissing her. "I'll Cook the steak and you can finish everything else" he smacked her ass which always made her moan. "Damn...you look good in this dress" he whispered to her as he gripped onto her ass. "we should finish cooking before the food burns" she said blushing. he smirked "Well since you want to keep your gorgeous body from me fine, but I have something for you" he said turning on the stove on "what is it that you have for me?" he pulled a large blueprint from the bag on the table. he unrolled it and she gasped "its perfect Josh I love it" she smiled seeing the plans for the house. it was her dream home. Reign jumped in his arms "I can't believe you got it exactly the way I wanted" Joshua chuckled "I figured this piece of good news would distract you from the fact you'll be seeing your sister this weekend" Reign sighed as she let him go and went back to cooking "you know what? I'm going to make the best of this, I'll take it as some much needed family time....and if she starts something with me I'm going to tell my father I'm sorry, but I have to go," Joshua looked at her with a curios look "Do you still love him?" Reign cut the stove off and smiled at Joshua "not even a little bit, I've never been happier" she gently caressed his cheek as her husband gave her a very rare smile. She learned over the time they've been together that his smiles were only reserved for her and his sister when she wasn't getting on his nerves. The two sat down at the table and had dinner. They talked about the house and how it was just outside the city so she'd still be close to her father. Soon they finished their food and Joshua smirked as he gently kissed her cheek, "i can't wait to meet your father" she smiled as she gently patted his cheek, that was their week it was chaotic and filled with work but in the end, they made it to Friday. reign took in a deep breath and looked at herself in the mirror in her husband's bathroom. she felt a tender kiss on her temple and a large hand snake around her waist. "Nervous?" she turned and slid her arms up around his neck. "Do you have my back?" he played with her long dark curls careful not to mess up the style she had very carefully placed them in "As long as I am breathing no one will hurt you ever again Angel" she smiled at his response "Then i think I will be fine" he grabbed her hand "into the lion's den we go"

At the Wilcox house a celebration was in full swing. It as one, Reigns father was turning seventy-nine. however, in honor of his late wife all guests were required to wear pink. Outside of the modest home a blue Lamborghini pulled up and a woman that looked remarkably like the late Mrs. Wilcox stepped out as a gentleman offered her his hand. "Reign I mean it! if at any time you feel uncomfortable tell me and we will leave" she gently kissed his cheek " I understand" as they walked into the house it seemed that everything stopped. the chatter, music, laughing everything went quiet and all eyes were on them. "Reign..." her father made his way through the crowd "Hi daddy...I'm sorry I haven't called in awhile" her father engulfed her into a bear hug. "My sweet baby, this is the best birthday gift. I'm so happy to see you and...hello?" her father looked up and noticed Joshua standing quietly behind his daughter. he was confused at first but Reign smiled and pulled Josh closer "Daddy this is..." "JOSHUA WASHINGTON!!!!" a familiar annoying voice interrupted her "What on earth is one of the richest and most eligible men doing in our home?" Simon excitedly pushed through the crowd of people her husband close behind her. Simon bumped Reign out of the way and got as close to Joshua as she could, she rested her hand on his arm. "Mr. Washington may i give you a tour of the house? Are looking to do a business deal with my husband?" Josh removed himself from the strange womans grip. he grabbed Rein by her waist and pulled her closer to him. "After the way your husband treated my wife I hope you and him both rot, my apologies Mr. Wilcox I am Joshua Washington Reigns husband"
