Chapter 7 The Origin of the Bite Mark

“William, you really shouldn’t let your imagination run wild. Wanda is a great wife, whereas you’re a great husband. She will never cheat on you,” Kylie soothed while staring at William seriously.

“Maybe. I hope that I’m just overthinking. As far as I know, this video has been uploaded and shared all over the internet. Haven’t you heard of it or watched it before?” William asked curiously after heaving a heavy sigh.

“It’s true that I’ve never watched it before, but when I was walking with Wanda at noon today, some students were pointing and whispering about us. A few teachers even cracked inappropriate jokes as well. I didn’t understand what was going on at that time, but now that I think about it, they must have already watched the video.”

Kylie continued worriedly, “Wanda’s mood was very unstable today as well, so I think that it should have something to do with the video. You should comfort her when you get home.”

“Why? Are you interested in this outrageous story? It’s much more exciting compared to a drama plot,” Jessica teased as she shot William a playful look.

“I hope that you’re not just spouting nonsense. Otherwise, I won’t ever let you off the hook!” William threatened while glaring at Jessica coldly with reddened eyes.

“Don’t worry. I will never say such things if it isn’t true!” Jessica said with great certainty.

“Fine. Just tell me what the hell happened,” William relented after taking a deep breath.

“Some time ago during my lunch break, I passed by Wanda’s office. All of a sudden, I heard a moan coming from the inside. At first, I thought that I was hearing things, so I knocked on the door. Guess what? A student suddenly rushed out from inside. Then I saw Wanda standing there with a flushed face and messy clothes. She started blushing even more when she noticed me looking at her. She looked awfully embarrassed.”

Jessica’s story was very exaggerated. While William listened to her, he could not help but frown deeply, his expression seemingly darker than before.
