Emily’s POV
I woke up today feeling energetic, my bones were strong and healthy. The doctor finally rid me of all the drips and medication that had plunged me into the past few days. Today was my day of rest and considering Alfred’s words, I could request anything and have it.
I groaned on the bed and stood up when Claire came in to greet me and open the curtains. I like her a lot, she alone made me feel like I was home, more like a mother I would say.
“Good morning Emily! I am pleased to tell you the doctor said you can now move around.” Claire said, grinning at me as I looked at her from the bed.
“Oh! Thank God then. I can finally leave this room, it smells of drugs!” I said, groaning loudly.
