Chapter 3

Diana POV

"You tried to kill yourself!" Amber said shockingly after pulling me out of the bathtub hours ago. "What were you thinking? You passed out throughout the night."

She pulled me into the mirror, I touched my face which was pale and almost out of life.

Ignoring her, I leaped up and continued dressing up while she looked on confused.

I put on my fitted clothes turning to her, "I am ready?"

"Are you going to meet the Alpha?" She asked

"No!" I retorted. Putting on a warm smile. I said, "Let's go out. I want to outrun you this time!"

She looked tensed, sighing while she rolled her eyes, "All alright. Now you want to train."

I strolled out of my chambers while she followed. As I walked through the pack house I noticed how the omegas and warriors had looked at me in pity.

They would get frightened and mumbled at the sight of me as if they all avoided me. This made me weak but all I thought of was the race. We met with Grace and Max who were both gammas and helped me train. Both had followed me all the way and had served me and loyal to me at all times.

As we passed the warrior's ground, I quickly ran while Amber chased me as she chuckled at my trick, and others follow.

I was stronger than her But she was faster. I trained enough to pass her this time. She quickly outran me while I tried to dodge the trees and outrun her too.

Reaching the ground in which we were about to change, I jumped and stopped suddenly.

I looked around, they were dead warriors of the pack around. They were killed as they were lifelessly on the ground. As I could not know if it was bound to happen at the same time, I was faced by Tyson. He also looked shocked which made him charge at me.

"What did you do?" He asked as the warriors gathered around us. I was speechless. He snarled and took us back to pack house.

He brought me before Henry while Veronica sat beside him.

You killed our warriors?" He asked angrily

"I did not do it" I replied.

"Yes, Alpha, we were running in the woods when we saw the dead bodies." Gamma Max informed him.

Henry growled and pinned him to the wall while he choked on the grip on his neck.

"I am the one to blame; Leave him!" He turned to me while still choking Max.

Without speaking a word, he commanded his beta, "Lock him up and the rest of the warriors under my Luna; it will not be long until words move through the country cause of this brutality." He left Max falling to the floor as he coughed terribly.

"You can't do that!" I stopped him. He quickly turned, growling making me to grasp fearfully as this send shock waves through me. With a smirk on his face, he left angrily alone.

As he turned, Veronica slipped as she was about to me him. She screams as she places her hand on her stomach.

Henry runs to her holding her, he tries to stand her up but she cannot. So he carried her in his arms while I watched in pain and my wolf, Ivy cried out in pain as she saw her mate showing much affection to another wolf. I turned my face away from them.

"Henry, our baby...!" She cried out. "I am in pain."

"What!" I thought to myself and turned back, if anything could break me then I would say it would be at this moment. They are expecting a baby! My mind quickly flashes back to what Grace had said.

"Come, fast!" He pointed out to his warriors. "Get her immediately to the pack doctor." I watched as he followed them holding her close while she was taken out of the pack house.

"I am relieved of my position as gamma, Luna Diana," Amber said bowing down her head. "Alpha's orders, grace the seer was also taken away. But I will always be loyal to you"

I sighed bitterly. "It is not your fault, I will make it up, to you," I assured her.

As we had walked out of the pack house, we were stopped by fierce-looking warriors.

Tyson walked up to me as he emerged from the midst of the warriors.

"I am here to deliver the Alpha's orders. Luna Diana" Tyson said.

"I am a prisoner now?" I asked.

"No, you are not. Luna" he answered. "Alpha Henry had ordered a meeting with the pack elders and gammas. They are joyful because of the child that he is going to have with Veronica."

I watched him talk and at the same time realized that I was in a deep situation of how my marriage would soon very much get torn apart.

"You will be removed as Luna," Tyson added.

"But I am married to Alpha Henry!" I said, turning my hands painfully into fists.

"Calm down, something must be wrong." Amber tried to reassure me.

"Nothing is wrong, Diana." Tyson retorted. "You will become his mistress

He soon left and I turned towards the woods sobbing bitterly leaving Amber behind.

With a heavy heart hearing that she was pregnant. My heart was completely torn apart.

My wolf could not take it. We were grieved together. My wolf, Ivy snapped and I freely gave myself to her, I could not handle the pain alone. I ran immediately back into the woods. I ran faster and faster and almost felt like I was floating but still my heart was very heavy.

Thinking of how alone I was in this. I shifted at once.
