Ally woke up one morning, a few days after her beloved grandpa passed,but this morning was different..... A bunch of animals showed up at a her window. But one of them seemed... different. A black Labrador was staring intently at her, just as she was about to leave her house for the night. He wouldn’t move like the other animals did, and she felt something was wrong. She decided to stay home and leave a little later. The next day, she heard there had been a deadly accident on the street she was meant to take at that exact time. The dog had been at her window while none of the other animals were. The next morning, the dog was gone. She didn’t think much of it—until she saw a new paw print on her door. Her grandpa had passed away recently, and he always loved Labradors.... So, She began to wonder... could it be some sort of afterlife sign? This dog kept appearing everytime she was about to make a bad decision or head into dangerous situations... One night, as she was getting ready for a date with her boyfriend, she spotted the dog’s reflection in her car’s rearview mirror. A wave of sickness and dread overcame her. Still, she brushed it off and went on with her day. But as she drove, she saw the dog again and again. That was enough... She turned the car around and called off the date. A few days later, she stumbled across a gut-wrenching news article.... Her now ex-boyfriend had been arrested for abusing and k********g his exes—and she had been his next planned target. She went straight to the police and ended up helping rescue the other girls. While doing so, she met a kind, attractive police officer who would later become her one true love. She only saw the dog once more after that day—on her wedding night, laying at a distance under a soft light. A final goodbye.
