Dean looked down at his wife's blood on his hands
He still couldn't believe what had just happened.
He had been furious when he heard her calling Danny the love of her life. He had wanted to fight with her, to shout, to demand answers, but he never imagined she would end up hurt.

His sister Ashley cut through the ringing in his eyes, behind her his parents and the rest of his family approached slowly, their faces pale with fear.
Ashley warped her arms around him, pulling him into her chest, and Dean broke.
He swore to never shed a tear after what his father had done to him and to his mother.
He hadn't cried when his father the monster had died,
He hadn't cried when Lily died.
But Kate and his baby.
He couldn't help himself.
