The usual question since Dean traveled.
“ Soon baby, your daddy is coming home. “
His eyes lit up, and he turned his focus to his coloring book.
She hasn't seen Dean since that incident. He left for a business trip a month ago to Australia and still hasn't come home.
The children miss him terribly. They ask about him every single day , even when he video calls at night, their smiles never last, the calls always end in tears.
She does her best to cheer them up, to distract them, to fill the silence his absence leaves behind…..but no matter what she does, it's never enough.
For her , it's better that he left. She didn't want to see his face, not after what he did last time.
