Chapter Twenty Scout pulled out onto the road. “Where are we going?” Quinn awkwardly pulled on the jumper that was lying between the seats, tugging it into place below the seat belt. “I don’t know. Not home. Not yet anyway.” “Where were you?” She smiled, staring at Scout in the glow from the dash. He’d been the right one to ring. He wasn’t the sort to freak out until he had all the facts. “You’ll never believe me.” “Try me.” He glanced towards her, returning her smile.
