Chapter Eight

Colton's P.O.V

After Williams brought a report to me about a rogue and how the enemy pack has been trying to invade our privacy. I set off with Williams and some of our men. We went to deal with the situation and i knew it wasn't so difficult to handle. This particular pack has been weak to fight against us, but they are trying every possible means to go against us.

Over the years, we really didn't pay much attention to them but i decided to treat their f**k up once and for all.

"Williams, how is the case going?" we were on my car going towards the direction of the park.

"Are you talking about the rogue and the vampires at the Pacific East humans town?"

"Yes"

"Alpha, we've dealt with it. They tried to escape, so it wasn't easy to get a hold of them. Despite that, we still succeeded but the bad news is, their leader escaped. It was only later that we discovered that he is among those Pack that has been disturbing us"

"Then that's good, it's easier to deal with them" I gave a short reply

We got there but I didn't go in with them. I just instructed them on what to do. I will only go in when the situation is dire, but I trust they would handle it well as I still have other important matters to attend to at that point.

After dealing with the whole situation, we left. When we got to a certain spot, my wolf shifted. I told Williams to stop the car and I alighted from it. I moved towards the direction it was telling me to go. That was when I heard "she is here".

My thoughts went striaght to my mate, because she's the only one my wolf would address as "She". I turned around and informed Williams and the others to go without me.

I was happy to know that she is somewhere near. I got to see her again, she has always been on my mind and i always imagined meeting her again. I wondered what she was doing around this side.

When I met her, I only saw her back. She was the only one there and seeing that it was a river, I figured out that she came out to relax.

On getting closer to, I called out to her. I knew she will definitely be surprised to see me.

Later on, we were out on a garden, discussing and getting along. I silently thanked the moon goddess for giving me a lovely mate like her.

I felt that getting to know her was better, but I won't hold myself whenever I felt any kind of desire towards her, that was the compromise we made.

"I WANT YOU"

"Do you have anywhere you want us to go" I asked

"I think a hotel would do" she responded

"Why don't we go to my house. I live alone, but i rarely go there". I had other plans. I didn't want to go to a hotel and i knew that Elma was also not too comfortable with it. I have a private villa of my own in town but i rarely stayed there. I knew it would come in handy one day.

Elma agreed with me. On our way to my house, i was expectant and excited. I've been wanting to do this with Elma. Ever since i met my mate, i felt it was a good thing and i was happy i did. Thinking of the things i would do with her brought a smile to my lips.
