Ariel walked slowly into the pack house. As she walked in, her body trembled in trepidation because she was afraid of whatever awaited her there. She knew she could never hope for nothing to await her because there was always something awaiting her; whether punishment or loads of work. She knew she could not escape them. Ariel was so afraid to the extent that her body started trembling uncontrollably, and she felt beads of sweat on her skin despite the cool atmosphere of the pack house. Gradually, the sweat on her body turned from beads to trickles, and she knew that it was not as a result of the temperature of the environment, which was mildly cool, but as a result of the temperature of her inner body.
