Chapter4

Felix's Pov

I know theres something going on when I saw my brother, one morning, with a wide smiling face. It wasn't normal. So it's obvious that there's someone behind his change of mood.

He coughed fakely when he realized I was looking at him. He was typing and texting someone.

"What?" He ws trying so hard to look serious but he couldn't wipe away the obvious. We're not close so it's creeping me out to see him looking like an giggling i***t.

I shook my head in disbelief. Is he inlove? Oh no, I don't even wanna know.

I sipped on my coffee. He was a little damp and on his rubber shoes so he might be from his usual routine which is the jogging. He is a morning person, and I'm not. Were an example of a opposite siblings. Well, we're not really related in blood.

"You seem in your usual mood, brother?" I sarcastically asked. His eyes went to me.

"Well, it's because of someone.." he straigthly said and I almost choked up on the coffee that I was drinking. I didn't expect that. I thought he would deny it. I knew it's all a lie when he said that he was taken, and possible my mother knows too. My brother is a workaholic person and dating is his least priority.

"Don't tell to our mother yet."

I got intrigued by the woman. We maybe not be close enough to be the called siblings and to treat each other as a brothers but I know how picky he is on dating someone. So who might be that girl?

"Who--" I was cut of when I heard our mother's loud voice.

"What did I just heard? You have a secret, Hendrix? What secret is that? Your mother has to know!"

I rolled my eyes in her dramatic tone. My brother soothe tried to soothe her. But my mother was in the mood to be an actress and walked out. Hendrix immediately followed her. He is a mother's boy. Well, she is his own and real mother.

My eyes landed on his cellphone. He left it and I had no intention to pick it up. I'm about to leave too but when it lightened, I saw a familliar name, flashed. My eyes widened. It's Vin.

It has a password so I couldn't read their entire conversation. It's obvious that they know each other but...they are dating now? How come? So they do really know each other? And that there's really something between them, huh?g

I gritted my teeth. After what happened to us, she would date my brother instead? She moaned and begged under me! She can't just forget about it and be with Hendrix! I won't let her!

Vin's Pov

I couldn't erase my smile. Things happened so fast. After we met again, Hendrix asked me if he can court me again. Of course, I was surprised because he told my mother that he was taken. But I found out that it was all just a lie. He said that he only wanted to see my reaction that time.

To be honest, I'm a bit scared. I hurted him before. What if this time, he will take a revenge? But he assure me that past is past so... I will trust him. And this time, I will be a good and deserving girlfriend of him.

"You have no interview today?"

I was cleaning my car when my father came. He's holding his newspaper and cup of coffee. I bit my lip to stop on smiling.

"Yes dad. But a new company emailed me for an interview tomorrow."

He nodded. "Why don't you apply to Hendrix?"

"H-Ha?" Does he notice something?

He fixed his eyeglasses. "I like him for you. He's intelligent, professional and a good man. Unlike his brother. Guy like that has no good future."

My jaw dropped after his statement.

"Clean my car too, okay?"

Then he left. Why did he say that? He did know something! But how? Am I that so obvious?

A sudden horn of a car, almost make me heart attack.

"Good morning!"

My jaw dropped. Hendrix wave his hand to me. I pinched my nose to know if he's real. Why he's here?

"H-Hi! Why are you here?"

I once brushed my fingers through my hair. He looks so fresh and ready to whatever his plan for today. While me, I have no bathe or anything! This is so embarrassing!

He opened the door. He then smiled cutely at me. My heart skips a beat. I think I fell more.

"Are you done eating your breakfast?" He asked instead.

I coulndn't stop staring at him. He really looks so good. Especially now that he's smiling at me.

"Am I really handsome?"

I rolled my eyes at him. He chuckled.

"Yes, I'm done. So why are you here, Mr. Hendrix?" I folded my arms and tried to look serious.

He smiled more. "Ah, that's bad. I thought I can eat breakfast with you today." He said.

I blinked twice.

"H-Ha?"

"It's okay. How about dinner later? I hope your free?"

I am positive that I was as red as potato. He's asking me for a dinner! Is this a dream? "Y-Yes I'm free."

He tilted his head. He then tenderly eyed me. "Good."

I divert my eyes to different direction so he won't see my wide smile. "How about you girlfriend? Is it okay with her...that you're asking me like that?"

He chuckled in a manly way. "What do you think? Do you want me to call her for permission?"

I quickly turned to him. I gave him a death glare.

He licked his lips. "Just kidding."

My lips parted when he reached for my hand. I could feel my heart hyperventilating in excitement and happiness.

"Are your parents there?" He asked while gently squeezing my hands.

"Y-Yeah..do you want to come inside--"

My smile faded when my eyes caught something or someone from the inside of his car. There, I saw Felix. He was eating a double cheese burger. He was darkly looking at me in every big bite but when our eyes met, he rolled his eyes and tore his eyed away. The heck?

Coldness crept in me. "Y-You're with your brother.."

Hendrix glanced to his brother. "Felix? Ah, yeah. His car wasn't in good condition so he asked me to drive him till his studio. I almost forgot about him." He let out a chortle.

I akwardly chuckled. "Ah.."

He smiled mischievously. "Don't worry he don't mind." I slowly nodded but I saw Felix again, he rolled his eyes again to me. Yeah, he don't mind at all, Hendrix.
