Shadow Luna

CH. 14

Colten POV

It has been a week since the attack. We came to find out that the rogues were ordered to snatch Bell and take her back to the old compound. The syringes they had were full of a mixture of wolfsbane and tranquilizers. Wolfsbane is not deadly to us, but it makes our wolf weak and unresponsive until its out of our system. The prisoners also informed us that Jason was present and watching the Luna and me closely while Bell shifted. I am certain he knows that Bell is the Shadow wolf and is more determined then ever to have her. I need to find him and kill him before he takes another chance.

I decided to let Bell train with me. I wanted to help her develop her fighting skills more and adapt her wolf senses. She is really a remarkable woman. I am over the moon happy that I finally have her heart, she accepted me, she accepted the bond. Now I can’t wait to mark her. We agreed to have the Luna ceremony in two weeks on the full moon. She was shy at first when I explained to her that we had to mark each other in front of the pack after taking the oath. She is so adorable that it drives me wild. She has also begun to handle the minor disputes in the pack. She handles the pack with grace and poise. I could see the pack admire their Luna. They had long to have a Luna and now that they have one, she could not be more perfect.

I was in my study going over reports when I got a call on my cell phone. I look at the caller ID and saw that it was the king calling.

“Hello your majesty.” I greet

“Hello Alpha Colten, I hear that you are planning your Luna’s ceremony soon.” He says back.

“Yes, she is ready and accepts me. I can’t wait to claim her.” I hear the king chuckle.

“Well I am glade to hear, but I heard a rumor that she is a special wolf?”

“Yes, she had her first shift on the lunar eclipse.” I answer, now that I know Jason knows, its best if the King knows too.  

“A Shadow Wolf! That is rare, especially with a transitioned wolf.” He gasps.

“Yes, that is what we gathered from the elders.”

“I would like to meet this Wolf; she will be the key to bringing down the rogue king once and for all. Keep her safe, I am sure that the Vampires caught wind of this and will be after her too.” He says.

“Why would stupid bloodsuckers be after her too?” I ask worried that there is another threat to my little one.

“Well she will have the power to control shadows, even move through them. Vampires want her to help them walk in the daylight.” He says, I just sigh and rub my forehead. Now I have to worry about more dangers, I just want to keep my Bell safe.

“Thanks for letting me know Daxton.”

“No problem Colten, what is family for if not to help each other out. I will be seeing you at your Luna’s ceremony, I will be bringing extra warriors with me to further secure the event.”

“Thanks, your majesty.”

“Bye Alpha.”

I hung up, placed my phone on my desk leaded back and rubbed my palms against my eyes. Then I hear a soft knock on the door, before I could smell it, I sensed it was my mate knocking at the door. “Come in” She walked in and strutted towards me. Her smell hits me like a train, and the way she moved just captivated me. I push my chair back and motion for her to come and sit on my lap. She timidly obliges. I love how shy and adorable she is. I wrap my arms around her waist bring her closer to me and burry my nose in the croak of her neck inhaling deeply. Her presence and scent calmed me down.

“Is everything ok Colten?” She asks running her figures through my hair.

“Yes, little one, just keeping an eye on security for now. And I just got off the phone with the king.”

“What did the king say?” She asked worried.

“He knows that you are the Shadow Wolf and is excited to meet you. He will be attending your Luna ceremony.” I say and feel her stiffen.

“The king is coming?” She said in a shocked tone.

“Yes, but don’t fret. He is family. His father and my mother were siblings, making us cousins.” I felt her relax a little with this new information.

“Ok I believe you.” She says.

“So, what have you been up to today, love?” I say, I was missing her all morning. I had to get caught up and ahead if I wanted to give my complete focus on Bell and the rogues.

“It was busy, Angelica and I trained with the other she-wolves, I had another chat with your mother about the Luna ceremony, and I was about to head down for lunch and decided to check up on you.” She said, she was so casual and comfortable with her new life now. I just want to make her happy and content like this every day. I am so proud of her growth.

“Sounds like your blending nicely little one. I am glade you stopped by, I am dying to take a break and be with you again.” I squeezed her tighter taking in her overwhelming scent. Yes, I did miss this. Maybe I should ask her work with me as my personal assistant, that way I can be with her 24/7.

“Well then you are going to have to let me go Colten if we want to go to lunch.” She says playfully. I hear her belly rumble and I sighed succumbing to my inevitable defeat. I can not have my Luna starving.  

“Ok let’s go.” I pout and hear her giggle.

“Before I forget, I wanted to let you know that I am hosting that support group after lunch in the library.” She said. I was so happy at how thoughtful she was, always tell me where she is going and who she is going to see. I knew she did it to ease my mind and heart. I am a lovesick puppy, only for her.

“Ok thanks for letting me know love.” I kiss her cheek and watch her cheek turn red. I love seeing this side of her.

Annabelle POV.

After lunch Colten escorted me to the library where he had the omegas set up some snacks and refreshments for the group. He told me to take as much time as I need, and Angelica would be next door doing pack stuff. I gave him a soft kiss thanking him and he grinned. He reluctantly left and I was all alone. I look around and for a moment I felt myself feel uncomfortable, my heartbeat was faster, and my palms started to sweat. Was I having a panic attack? Then I heard the door open and Cam, Lisa, and Mindy, the survivors come in. They look guarded but healthy. Lisa and Mindy were blondes and Cam was a red head. I took a deep breath calming myself down feeling better that I am not alone anymore.

“Hi ladies, its so nice to see you again. The Alpha had refreshments and snacks brought for us to enjoy and take as long as we want.” I say and motion for them proceed. They seem to relax a little. “Here let us sit on the sectional.” I guide them. I sit on the end facing them, Lisa to my right, the Mindy and Cam just next to her on the other side of the sectional.

“So I am going to start by saying that what that Jason bastard did to us was f****d up!” I knew that I had to be the one to start and be open. I heard them giggle, must be a good start.

“Yea you can say that.” Lisa said.

“So how are you girls adjusting? How is this pack treating you?” I ask. Colten told me that he had them transfer to a cottage right next to the pack house that was just theirs to live together.

“The pack has been nice and helpful, Mindy and I manage to get jobs as beauticians at the salon in the village. But the loud howls and occasional growls still scare me. I hate that I am so jumpy and scream when it happens.” Lisa said.

“I have the same reactions, its like hearing those wolf sounds trigger the flashbacks.” Cam said.

“Mindy, do you get the same reaction?” I ask her thinking that I was the only one with only night terrors.

“Um, I find it hard to go outside, It’s like the minute I step outside I start getting a panic attack and step back inside and lock myself In my room until I calm down.” She nervously said fidgeting with her fingers. “I am only here because Lisa and Mindy were with me.” She said. I nod, they are all still suffering from the trauma.

“I know this is probably hard to talk about, but what was your life like before they took you?” I ask, maybe talking about the past may bring a small glimmer of a happy recollection.

 “If you don’t mind Luna…” Mindy began.

“Bell… call me Bell please.” I smile at her.

“Bell, do you mind telling us your story, we already know each other’s, but we would really like to hear from you.” She said and I nodded. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes transporting myself back to the memories I had just before I was taken.

“It was June 17 when I was taken. I was hiking with my fiancé.”

“You were engaged?!” Lisa asked shocked. I nodded and continued.

“The day before was my high school graduation and after we got our diplomas and met with our friends and family, Greg went down on one knee and proposed. Greg was my 4-year long boyfriend. We grew up together on the same street, went to the same schools. We were inseparable. My parents and his mom died 3 years ago, and we just did not want to lose any more loved ones. We survived through all that grief together. He was the Captain of the football team, I was a nerdy soccer player, people tried to separate us but failed miserably. I though that he was my soul mate. I loved him. So, you can imagine waking up the next day in his arms with a ring on my finger was heaven. We both were so ready for what our future would hold. We both got accepted into Humboldt state university. We loved the outdoors and wanted to get a place together. We decided to spend the day hiking new trails near the university. An hour in we ran into Jason and his rogues and fought us, I knew how to fight already and was holding my own until I saw Greg on his knees Jason holding him in a headlock. I let my guard down for a split second when his men came and restrained me… then… then…” I close my eyes and flashback to that horrible memory. “Jason snapped Greg’s neck. I saw the love of my life fall limp on the ground. Before they stuck a needle on my neck and woke up at the compound.” I let the tears go not knowing that my eyes were full.

“I’m sorry, I know how it feels to lose the ones you love. Both my parents and brother died a few years back. I guess its hard being alone for so long.” Cam said. “I was with my best friend camping close to mount Shasta when they took me. Although it seems like you were closer to Alpha Jason was to any of us. When we were taken a group of guys with red eyes grab us both and put burlap bags over our heads. They took them off when they presented us in front of the Alpha. He examined us and motioned for us to go. That is when we were taken into a medical looking wing from the 50’s. There were rows of cots with other woman restrained in their cots. They injected us. When I woke from my transition, I saw that they were lugging my best friend’s limp body away. They told me she did not survive the transition.” She started to sob in her hands. I rushed beside her and started rubbing her back and arms.

“Ssh, its ok. She is in a much better place now, away from any more hurt and pain. She is at peace.” I say to her. She gently places her hand on top of mine and gives me a small smile. Lisa was quick to find the tissues and give Cam one.

“All of us have suffered at the hands of those bastards. But I think that this experience strengthens us. We were able to endure the beatings; we survived the transition. All this shows us that our will, our soul, our spirit is strong.” I say and see the sparkles return in their eyes. “When I transitioned, I was honored to meet the moon Goddess. She was the one that introduced my wolf to me.” I pause look towards the window where the night peered through and the moon gleaming in all its glory. “I have a strong feeling that the moon goddess blessed all us survivors. She wants us to be stronger than we were before. Our lives as humans were challenging enough, it’s no different in this new life too.” I finish saying.

“How have you coped with all this Bell?” Mindy asked. I smiled thinking of Colten. He is the main reason I am not as scared anymore.

“I found my mate that day the pack rescued us. He has not left my side since. He managed to care for me and help me through it. When I told him what Alpha Jason’s plans were for me, he doubled the guards around the pack house, even had a guard assigned to me when he was not by my side. I felt more secure and safe here than I ever felt before, and it was all thanks to him. I just can’t believe that a once ordinary girl like me is mated to an Alpha.”

“You are so lucky; my wolf was talking about mates and they sound so nice. I can’t wait until I meet mine.” Mindy pouted which made us all laugh.

“In time Mindy, I am sure that the moon goddess with pair you with someone who would love you and protect you with every fiber of their being.” I gushed.

“What did they do to you at the compound. I never say you in the wing where we three were at. Not even when they took us outside to force us to shift.” Lisa asked.

“Well they had me in my own creepy exam room. The scientist and Jason would constantly visit me. Jason took it upon himself to force me to transition. I guess he thought I was special, and I would take his side and become his mate, his Luna.” I said to them and they were shocked.

“I am so sorry Bell; Jason was the curliest when it came to his beatings. I only had to suffer his wrath once.” Cam said and the others nodded. I thought that these ladies had gone through the same as I had. I guess Jason made me suffer more that anyone. I swear when I face him again, I will make sure he suffers before I kill him.

“Well ladies I believe that this is a good stopping point, we can get together next week same time. It’s already dark outside I will have two guards escort you back to your cottage.” They all smiled, and we hugged each other goodbye.

I went up to the bedroom where I took a nice relaxing shower put my pajamas on and sat in bed with the new book I got from the library. I snatched it before I left because it was a history of werewolves and I was hoping it would have something about my wolf. It was fascinating to read, there are so many wolves that made a huge influence on this world, between the epic wars, the business boom, and revamping of werewolf law. I was so engrossed in my book that I had not notice Colten come in.

“That book must be more interesting than I am.” I hear Colten say. I look up and saw him standing right in front of the bathroom in nothing but a towel. Holy s**t! When did he come in? Could he at least put something on before grabbing my attention? “Like what you see?” He said with a smirk on his gorgeous face. I hit my blush behind the book, I can’t believe that I was shamelessly ogling him again.

Then I felt the bed dip in front, and I peek over my book and there he was crawling over on top of me until his face was an inch away.

“It is ok little one. I am all yours to look at and touch whenever you want.” I sink into the bed more with the book partially covering my face. Colten snatches the book away from my hands and troughs it to the ground. Then he kissed me hungerly on the lips. “I want you.” He said peppering kisses along my jaw line and down my neck until he was right at the base of my neck. “This is where you will bare my mark.” He nipped and sucked on the same area.

“Colten, do we have to wait until the ceremony to mark and mate?” I ask. He mumbled ‘no’ still licking and nipping at my neck. “Then take me Colten, make me yours.” I whimpered. I felt him stiffen and he looked up at me. His clear grey eyes look right into my emerald eyes.

“Are you sure? I can still wait little one.” I lean to him and just as my lips brush his I whisper, “Yes” then kiss him with all the love I have for him. For the first time in my life I let go of my control. I have never been so sure of anything in my life, I want Colten to be my first and last, my beginning and my end. I have accepted my fate and decided to trust in the moon goddess, trust in my wolf, and trust in his love for me.

“I love you Colten.” I say when we break from the kiss. “I love you Bell.” He said back. He was kissing me and gently removing my cloths. I felt a trail of tingles where his hands roamed on my bare skin. When he got me down to my bra and panties be stood up and removed his towel. I gazed upon his perfectly sculpted body to his manhood. He was huge and I was starting to feel nervous about it fitting. “Don’t worry little one, I will make sure you are all ready and wet when you take it all in.” He said with a husky voice. I nodded.

He crawled back on top of my and removed my bra and panties. He sat back on his hind legs to exam my body. I have never been completely naked in front of anyone, even Greg. I was feeling a bit self-conscious and started to cover myself with my arms. Colten grabbed them, “Don’t… you are absolutely beautiful. I am so grateful to the moon goddess to bless me with you.” He began kissing all over my body. I felt one of his hands slowly make its way down my tummy to my flower. He started gently rubbing my bud and I felt an intense sensation it made me gasp. It was nothing I have ever felt before. Then I felt him move kissing me all along my chest taking in my n*****s into his mouth. All these new sensation Colten was introducing to my body made me want him inside me even more. This build up was turning me into putty in his hands.

“Oh, Colten.” I was turning into a moaning mess now. “Do you trust me Bell?” He asked kissing me down my tummy. “Yes” I managed to breath out. He then dipped his head in between my legs and his tongue took over where his fingers were. He then inserted on finger into my opening and I arched my back and gasped. I was feeling a build up in my gut and with every movement Colten made I was being brought closer and closer to the edge, until I felt my climax and the dams broke. Colten lapped up my juices and brought his head up to admire me, pleased with his work. He then wiped his face and continued to rub his hands along my body. He was nestled nicely on top of me and in between my legs. We were a perfect fit.

“Are you sure you are ready? Because once we finish here there is no going back. We will be together forever.” He said look straight into my eyes his manhood rubbing itself along my entrance.   

“Yes Colten, I love you forever and always.” I say. “I love you too Bell.” He said back kissing me as he gently enters me finally. He filled me to the brim and stretched me out so much that the pain made me tear up.

“Open your eyes and look at me Bell.” I open my eyes and Colten takes his hand and brushes the tears streaming down my cheeks. He stayed still in me as I adjusted. “I am sorry, I promise it will get better from here.” He said as he slowly pulled out and back in. With each thrust there was less pain until I felt the same build up forming in my gut. I start moaning again and close my eyes enjoying this new sensation. He moved faster and harder in me. Our room was filling up with our moan and groans, our scent was mixing up and dominating the atmosphere. Colten began to kiss down my neck and lick where he will mark me. I was so close to the edge and I knew he was also. Then I felt it. He sunk his teeth in my neck which started out painful and then turned into the more pleasurable moment of my life. I came hard and saw stars. Then as if on instinct, I elongated my canines and sunk my teeth on Colten’s neck. I felt him climax as squirt after squirt filled me and dripped down my legs. He released me and licked my wound and I did the same to him. He looks back at me and smiles. I run my hand through his hair admiring the glow that seems to have surrounded him.

“Now you are all mine, my Bell.” He said and kissed where he left his mark. My body shivered at the touch. “Yes Colten, I am all yours now.” I say back. He gets off me and out of bed. I try to sit up but felt the soreness between my legs. “Stay here for a minute, I am going to run a bath for you. It will help with the soreness.” He said and disappeared into the bathroom. I slowly sit up and look down at the evidence of my broken maidenhead. Then Colten comes back out and carries me bridal style to the bathroom where the bathtub was ready with steaming hot water and bubbles. He gently placed me in the tube like I was a fragile doll. It was cute watching him take care of me. The hot water was penetrating all my sore muscles and I relaxed letting the lavender smell engulf me. Colten joined me and I rested against his chest.

“How are you feeling my love?” Colten asked.

“Good…sore…and complete.” I say. Colten grabs a sponge and puts a generous amount of bath soap on it and starts scrubbing me.  

“I wasn’t too hard on you, was I?” He asked. His thoughtfulness and caring was making me melt all over again.

“I am fine, Colten, it was amazing, and I am perfectly content right now.” I say almost annoyed, I knew he worried, I can feel his emotions now.  

“Just making sure my love. I hate the though of you getting hurt because of me.” I felt his sadness. I turn and straddle him taking both my hands cupping his face.

“Colten, I know that you can never hurt me. I know that your love for me is pure and genuine. I am all yours, and I am tougher than you give me credit for.” I say and see his smile grow, the smile that I have come to love. He kisses me and I kiss him back. Then I felt him get hard and I gasp in the kiss. “Colten?”

“I can’t help it love. I am addicted to you now; I cannot be satisfied with just one round now that I have you.”  He started to lick and suck on my n*****s making me wet all over again. Then his hands grab my hips and slowly guides me down his hard shaft. I was still tight and sore, but it felt amazing having him back inside of me.

After our bathroom fun we finally made it back to the bed, which was cleaned while we were in the bathroom. Colten was so insatiable as we continued to have another few round until the brink of dawn. I slept in his arms. I felt like for the fist time since my parents died, I finally felt like I was at home. Colten is my home.
