I kissed her before leaving. “After we can have lunch, meet me out side the meeting room?” I asked and she smiled pulling me in for another kiss. “Ok, see you soon.” Daisy said laying back down in my bed still completely nude. She was making it so hard to walk out the door. I got to the meeting room and sat down. I pulled out my phone and saw a text from Daisy. “I miss you already.” It read and I smiled. “Likewise.” I sent back as the doors opened. “Already here! I thought you would be late today.” Uncle Dec said. “I set a alarm just in case.” I said. “Very good! Henry and James should be here any moment.” Uncle Dec sat down. “Oh! Your aunt Madison wanted me to ask you if you wanted to come over and have dinner with us tonight?” He asked and I looked at him shocked. “But Daisy said you guys were having family time tonight.” I said and he smiled. “You’re family Josh. Plus aunt Madison can get a break from Riley to spend time with Liam.” He said placing papers in front of me. “Oh so you’re using me for a mini break!?” I laughed. “Ok, I’ll come.” I lifted the paper and started reading it. “Are these dates correct?” I asked, but before uncle Dec could answer the door opened. “I know, we are late.” Uncle James said. “Crisis at the school in town, Not the elite school.” Henry said looking at me as he sat down. “Oh yes Josh, some kids have been throwing a fit about the different schools and level of education one gets at each.” Uncle Dec said. “Isn’t one the kids with the higher grades and marks and the other for more, average students?” I asked and uncle James nodded. “Interesting.” I said and the room was silent. “Wait are these really the dates we are going to the college?” Henry asked. “I know boys that the day we return is Daisy’s birthday. I promise we will be home before noon.” Uncle Dec said. “She’s going to be devastated.” I said reading the paper over. “Don’t worry lover boy, you will be home in time for her party.” Uncle Dec said slapping my back while Henry glared at me. “So we leave in two days. We will be there for two days. Then we will be home. Our itinerary is on the paper. Read it over. Get back to me. The end.” Uncle Dec smiled and stood up. “James shall we?” He said and uncle James stood up. I could hear them discussing the schools as they walked out. Henry and I sat there quietly looking over the paper. “So are you guys hoping to mate bond on her birthday?” Henry asked and I looked up from the paper. “I don’t know.” I said looking back. “Josh, be real with me.” He said and I looked at him. “What would you like me to say?” I asked. “Tell me that you like her! Tell me something that helps me not cling to this small bit of hope that you’re not really interested.” Henry said looking at me with desperation in his eyes. “I think the fact she’s not interested in you should be enough, don’t you think?” I said and he sighed. “I’m going to prove you like her more then you say.” He stood up, I got up and followed him out the doors. “What do you mean?” I started to worry. Daisy stood at the bottom of the stairs and looked confused when she saw both of us. I stood there a moment as I watched Henry approach her. He grabbed her and kissed her. I moved quick towards them and grabbed him. He lifted his hands as I pushed him against the wall. I held him against the wall with my fist c****d as Daisy held onto my arm. “Josh!” She said holding onto my arm. Henry laughed as I growled at him. “See! I knew you liked her more then you let on.” I suddenly heard Daisy yelling out and other people grab me. I felt calmed as I let go of Henry. “You think it’s ok to just sexually assault someone, you have another thing coming!” I felt myself being pulled away as I yelled and Henry shook his head. “I broke someone’s nose for less!” I screamed before I was pulled into a office. “Josh this has to stop.” I heard my mom as I sat down. Daisy rubbed my back and my dad sighed. “So I’m supposed to be fine with him kissing my girlfriend against her will!?” I blurted out and the room got silent. “I’m ok, I think Henry was just trying to prove some point.” Daisy said. “I’ll talk to James. I’m sure he’s already on his way in here.” My dad looked at my mom. “I don’t know what’s wrong with the men in your family.” My mom said to my dad and he laughed. “Come on! I read your father was just as crazy.” My dad said as a knock came at the door. It opened and my uncle James came in. “What’s wrong with your son?” My mom said and he looked instantly offended. “My son!? Your son was just going to punch him!” James said. “After he forced a kiss on Josh’s girlfriend!” My mom yelled. “Maybe if Josh had told Henry that Daisy is now being referred to as his girlfriend, he would give up!” James said. “Oh please. Like you gave up on Madison or me? It took Hermia to get you to do that.” My mom said and I started to feel slightly uncomfortable. “Now who’s the one bringing up the past?!” My uncle James exclaimed and I looked at my dad. “You both know the children are preset right?” He asked. “There’s anger issues in your family. Now the kids have it.” My mom said and both my uncle and dad started to laugh. “Let’s blame anger issues on the blood line to cover up sh*tty parenting.” James said. “Brother, that’s crossing a line.” My dad said in a stern voice. “Sorry, that was over the line.” James said as my mom glared at him. “I’m going to tell Hermia you said that.” My mom said fuming. “Come on! We just made up.” My uncle James said in a slight whine. “Listen, we need to get the boys together and have them actually talk.” My dad said and they all looked at each other. “Agreed.” James said. “Fine idea.” My mom walked over and kissed him. “You! Meeting room, NOW.” My dad said pointing at me. I stood up and lead Daisy out and we stood in the hall for a moment. I kissed her and hugged her. “Your dad invited me to dinner, so I will see you later ok?” I said to her and she nodded. “I’ve never seen you like that before.” Daisy said and I shook my head. “I’m sorry. I can snap fast when it comes to people I really care about.” I said and she kissed me. “Call me when you’re done. I love you.” She said before departing. I watched her as she walked out and I went into the meeting room once more.
