“Finn?” I said as he got closer. “Of course it’s me, are you that dumb?” Finn said. “What are you doing here?” Barion asked getting out of the car. “I live here.” Finn said matter of factly. “You’re dad said you would be taking the week off and leaving Josh alone.” Barion said. “Doesn’t he leave tomorrow? I just came to say good bye!” Finn said in a fake sad voice. “What do you really want?” I asked. “Nothing. I like that the mere sight of me puts you on edge. So I came to say hello, good bye, and how I’ll miss you.” He snickered. I wasn’t sure what he was getting at. “You’ve had your fun, go on.” Barion said. “Dad told me you have a girlfriend back home now.” Finn said and my eyes got wide. “Finn, go home.” Barion said. “I am home!” Finn said getting annoyed before looking back at me. “You told everyone what happened and made me look like a *sshole Josh.” Finn said. “Does your girlfriend know you’re a narc?” He asked with a slight smirk. I turned away and opened the car door. “Or is she a b*tch like you?” He yelled knowing he wasn’t getting to me. I don’t even remember moving. Just getting into his face, all I could see was red. Barion pushed us apart. “That’s enough! Both of you!” Barion said pushing me to the car. I clenched my fists as I turned to go back to the car. “Tell your b*tch where to find me if she wants a real man.” Finn yelled. I grabbed onto the car fighting the want, no the need, to transform and rip him apart. I turned and Finn’s face looked scared. I don’t even remember transforming. Barion grabbed onto me as I heard myself snarl. “JOSH NO!” Barion held on tight as a glow started to emit from his hands and I started to calm down. “What the f*ck is going on out here!?” Jordan’s voice rang in my ears and I transformed back. I stayed there on all fours just breathing. “Finn is what’s happening!” Barion yelled motioning to Finn there with his arms crossed. “What are you doing here?” Jordan asked. “Telling Josh he’s a narc and his girlfriend is a b*tch.” He said freely. I stood straight up as Barion tried to grab my arm. I marched over and decked him. Finn hit the ground and groaned. Barion grabbed me and pulled me to the car quickly. He pushed me in and I sat down. “Stay damm*t!” He said angry. I looked in the review mirror and smiled as I watched Barion heal his face. I could see Finn crying and I snickered. Jordan picked up my phone off the ground and tapped the window. I opened the door slightly and he handed it to me. I laid back and closed my eyes feeling better somehow. I knew this would cause some kind of problem and I knew my training at eclipse was done. I heard Barion’s door closed and the car pull away. “Sarah is waiting with clothes for you.” Barion said in such a normal tone that I wasn’t sure if he was mad or not. We stopped in front of the house and I heard my window roll down. I finally opened my eyes and took the clothes. I put the sweat pants on and got out while holding the shirt. I walked quickly into the house and started to the stairs. I heard Izzy talking to Barion. Asking him why I was half dressed. I got into my room and took a deep breath. I opened my phone and called my dad. I wasn’t surprised when Jensen picked up. “Hello Josh! How are you?” He asked. “I need to speak to dad immediately.” I said with urgency in my voice. “Hold.” Jensen said and after a moment I heard my dad. “Josh what’s wrong?” My dad asked. “I punched him dad. Right in the face.” I said and took a deep breath. There was silence for a moment. “I’m booking you a sooner flight home. I knew I should’ve come down. I knew it!” My dad was aggravated. “Where’s Bari?” He asked. “I don’t know, you told me if anything happen to come to my room and lock the door.” I said looking at my bruised hand. “I’m going to call him. I’ll call you back in a moment.” My dad said hanging up. I walked to my bed and laid down. I covered my eyes with my arm and heard my door. “Yes, yes, of course.” I heard Barion talking. I didn’t budge. I heard him walk next to me and click his fingers. I lifted my arm and looked at him. He held out his hand and I sighed holding my hand out. My hand was suddenly warm as Barion healed it. “I’m taking care of it now.” Barion said annoyed. “You might as well just get the plane ready. We were all going to come home. Well, it was going to be a surprise. Do you want to talk to him? Ok, bye.” Barion put his phone down. We stared at each other for a moment. “You’re upset.” I said and Barion shook his head. “You’re not upset?” I asked and Barion shook his head. “I’m shocked.” Barion said. “To be honest with you, parts are kinda a blur to me. For instance, I don’t remember when my wolf came out.” I shrugged and Barion sighed. “I need to tell everyone to pack. We’re leaving in the morning. Dad says he will call you in a moment.” Barion walked out. I opened my phone and text Daisy. “Coming home a day early.” I typed and hit send. I got a instant reply. “Did something happen? Call me!” I clicked the call button and it barely rang. “Josh! What happened?” Daisy asked with concern in her voice. “Oh, it’s nothing. I punched Finn right in his face.” I said and couldn’t help but start laughing. “Are you serious!? Are you ok? What happened?” She said and I sighed. “He said some nasty stuff and I lost it.” I said. “Well are you ok?” She asked. “Yes, Barion healed my hand and Finn’s face unfortunately. You know it’s so nice to hear your voice.” I said and I heard her giggle. “Why are you being sweet?” She asked. “Am I not sweet?” I asked her. “Not normally.” She said and I started laughing. “I’m going to remember that when I see you.” I said and looked up. I saw Liam leaning in my door way. “I have to go, your brother is here.” I said in a confused tone. “Oh, tell him I said hi! Call me soon Josh.” She said. “Ok I will. Bye.” I hung up and sat there looking at him. “First I’m going to ask if you own a shirt you could possibly put on.” Liam said pushing himself off the door frame. I grabbed my shirt and put it on. “Next.” Liam held out his hand and I stared at it. “Is this a trick where you pull me into a gut punch or something?” I asked and he laughed. “No trick. You’re good in my book defending my sister from that creep.” I took Liam’s hand and shook it. “Did you tell her?” He asked and I shook my head. “I told her he said nasty stuff. I didn’t want to make her feel bad.” I said and he nodded. He turned and waved his hand as he walked out.
