Roman’s POV
Holding her close to me made me feel like I could handle this in a very good way.
There was no way we would be able to handle it without care. Since I loved her really well this would not be a problem.
“We will be fine,” I said, my voice firm with conviction. “But we have to take it one step at a time. Right now, we need to focus on us—on you, and this baby.”
Raven smiled, a genuine warmth in her eyes. “You’re right. I guess I’m just scared. Scared of the unknown, of everything changing.”
I leaned in closer, my forehead resting gently against hers. “Change is scary, but it’s also a part of life. And no matter what happens, we’ll face it together. You’re not alone in this, Raven. You never will be.”
