I took another step forward, my body vibrating with barely restrained fury as Astra held her hand out to my chest to stop me. “Stay away from Astra,” I growled. “If you come near her again, I’ll make sure you regret it.”
Lucian laughed, “You think you can keep her safe from me? You think you can protect her?” He shook his head, his eyes gleaming with a dangerous light. “I can take her away from you whenever I want. And there’s nothing you can do about it.”
