Raven’s POV
We sat by the river for a while, the sound of the waterfall providing a soothing background sound.
Brandon’s presence was comforting, and I found myself being reminded that not everyone in this pack was bad. Maybe there were good people too.
He listened closely, offering his own words and advice that made me see things from a different light.
As the night passed on, we shared more stories and laughs, the bond between us growing stronger.
There was something about him that made me feel… safe, understood. I realized that this night, which had started as an escape from the palace, had turned into something far more meaningful.
I so wanted to tell him about Emilia and what she had done but I knew he was still a stranger and I could only tell him so much.
