Chapter 51
Raven’s POV
The day started off bright and sunny, a perfect day for a leisurely day with my best friend, Astra.
We had planned to spend the day together, catching up and unwinding.
The palace grounds were beautiful and inviting, a haven away from the pack house inside that surely wanted us out.
As we sat under the shade of a large oak tree, we heard a couple of explosions as we saw a guard passing by.
“Excuse me,” I said to the man. “What’s going on?”
“Oh that would be the alpha and the beta training.”
I looked at Astra with raised brows. “Training?”
That was crazy. I could feel the tremors where I was sitting. There was no way this was just some random training exercise.
“Are you sure? That felt like an earthquake.”
